(1) विस्रसाबन्ध - जो स्वभाविक रूप से बनता है, उसे विस्रसाबन्ध कहते हैं। इसके दो भेद कहे
हैं- 1. सादि और 2. अनादि । सादि सान्त बन्ध के तीन भेद हैं- 1. बंधन प्रत्ययिक- जैसे स्निग्धता आदि के गुणों से जो परमाणुओं का बन्ध होता है, उसे बंधन प्रत्ययिक बन्ध कहते हैं। 2. भाजन प्रत्ययिकभाजन अर्थात् आधार । उसके निमित्त से जो बन्ध होता है उसे भाजन प्रत्ययिक बन्ध कहते हैं। जैसे घड़े में रखी हुई पुरानी मदिरा गाढी हो जाती है, पुराने गुड़ और पुराने चावलों का पिण्ड बन जाता है। 3. परिणाम प्रत्ययिक परिणाम अर्थात् रूपान्तर (हो जाने के निमित्त से जो बन्ध होता है, उसे परिणाम प्रत्ययिक 5 बन्ध कहते हैं जैसे वर्षा के बादलों का बन्ध अनादि अनन्त बन्ध के भी तीन भेद हैं- 1. धर्मास्तिकाय, 2. अधर्मास्तिकाय 3. आकाशास्तिकाय के प्रदेशों का बन्ध यह बन्ध देशबन्ध होता है।

(2) प्रयोग बन्ध - जो मन, वचन और काया रूप योगों की प्रवृत्ति से बनता है उसे प्रयोग बन्ध कहते हैं। इसके तीन भेद हैं- 1. अनादि अनंत बन्ध- जीव के असंख्यात प्रदेशों में से मध्य के चौबीस (रुचक) प्रदेशों का बन्ध अनादि-अपर्यवसित है। 2. सादि अनंत बन्ध-सिद्ध जीवों के प्रदेशों का बन्ध सादि अपर्यवसित बन्ध है । (क्रमशः)

Anaadi-anant bandh is also of three types (i) Dharmastikaaya (motion entity related), (ii) Adharmastikaaya (rest entity related) and (iii) Akaashastikaaya (space entity related) bondage of their sections. This is a bondage in part (desh bandh).
(1) Visrasa bandh - Bondage acquired naturally or spontaneously. It is said to be of two types – 1. Saadi (with a beginning) and 2. Anaadi (without a beginning). There are 卐 three types of Saadi-saant bandh- (i) Bandhan pratyayik (related to binding force) - bondage due to properties of smoothness and roughness in paramanus. (ii) Bhaajan pratyayik (related to container or storage) bondage due to place of storage (Bhaajan ). For example wine stored in a pitcher turns thick; jaggery and rice stored for long turn into lumps. (iii) Parinaam pratyayik (related to transformation ) bondage due to transformation in basic structure. For example the formation of rain clouds.
(2) Prayoga bandh - Bondage acquired by action in association with mind, speech and body. It is said of three types 1. anaadi-anant bandh without a beginning and without an end; this takes place in the twenty-four central space-points (ruchak pradesh ) of a (soul). (2) saadi-anant with a beginning and without an end; this is applicable to Siddhas. (continued...)
