पाँच क्रियाएँ
कर्मबन्ध की कारणभूत चेष्टा को अथवा दुष्ट व्यापार विशेष को 'क्रिया' कहते हैं। यहाँ पाँच प्रकार की क्रियाओं का वर्णन किया गया है

1. कायिकी क्रिया - काया संबधी क्रिया कायिकी क्रिया कहलाती है। जैसे किसी के साथ टकराकर उसे गिराना इत्यादि ।

2. आधिकरणिकी क्रिया - जिसके द्वारा आत्मा नरक आदि दुर्गति का अधिकारी होता है। पाप के साधनों - खड्ग चाकू, बंदूक इत्यादि का अनुष्ठान- विशेष अधिकरण कहलाता है। अधिकरणिकी क्रिया दो प्रकार की होती है-संयोजनाधिकरणिकी- पहले से बने हुए अस्त्र-शस्त्र हिंसा के साधनों को एकत्रित कर तैयार रखना। निर्वर्त्तनाधिकरणिकी - नवीन अस्त्र शस्त्रादि बनवाना । 3. प्राद्वेषिकी क्रिया - यह क्रिया क्रोध के आवेश में होती है। यह दो प्रकार की है
आदि
1. जीव प्राद्वेषिकी - जीव पर क्रोध करने से होने वाली क्रिया । जैसे बच्चे पर क्रोध करती स्त्री ।
2. अजीव प्राद्वेषिकी - अजीव सम्बन्धी क्रोध से होने वाली क्रिया । जैसे पत्थर से ठोकर खाकर उस पर क्रोध करता व्यक्ति ।
4 पारितापनिकी क्रिया- 'स्व' को, 'पर' को अथवा 'उभय' को परिताप उपजाना, दुःख देना ।
5. प्राणातिपातिकी क्रिया- अपने आपको, दूसरों को अथवा स्वयं और पर दोनों को प्राणों से रहित करना ।
FIVE ACTIVITIES
The word kriya or activity has been used specifically for sinful activity leading to karmic bondage. Here five kinds of activity are described -
- शतक 8, उ. 4, सूत्र 1
1. Kayiki kriya (bodily or physical activity) - An and all activities of the body is called Kayiki kriya. For example to collide with someone and topple him.
2. Aadhikaraniki kriya (activity involving tools or weapons ) - Adhikaran means the tools or instruments the use of which leads to miserable consequences like a rebirth in hell, such as sword, knife, gun etc. This activity is of two types - Samyojanaadhikaranik-kriya - act of assembling weapon with already made components, and 2. Nirvartan-aadhikaranik-kriya - act of making weapons from scratch.
3. Pradveshiki kriya — hostile action, towards self and others.
4. Paritapaniki-punitive action of inflicting punishment and pain on self and others.
5. Pranatipatiki - act of harming or destroying life of self and others.
