विवेचन : समस्त सांसारिक जीव अनाभोगपूर्वक (अनजानपने में = न जानते हुए) आयुष्य बाँधते हैं, वे ॥ आभोगपूर्वक (जानपने में = जानते हुए) आयुष्य बन्ध नहीं करते। आयुष्य बंध के नियमों की विस्तृत चर्चा : शतक ५, उ. ३ में की जा चुकी है।
Elaboration-All worldly beings acquire bondage of life-span determining karma unawares (anaabhoganirvartit) or without knowing about it, none acquires this bondage knowingly or with awareness of the process. The rules of bondage of life-span determining karmas have already been discussed in detail in Shatak 5 Uddeshak 3. कर्कश-अकर्कश-वेदनीय HARSH AND MILD SUFFERING
१५. [प्र. ] अस्थि णं भंते ! जीवा णं कक्कसवेदणिज्जा कम्मा कज्जंति ? [उ. ] हंता, अत्थि।
१५. [प्र. ] भगवन् ! क्या जीवों के कर्कश वेदनीय (अत्यन्त दुःख से भोगने योग्य-कठोर वेदना 卐 वाले) कर्म बँधते हैं ? 3 [उ. ] हाँ, गौतम ! बँधते हैं। + 15. [Q.] Bhante ! Do jivas acquire bondage of karkash vedaniya
karmas (karmas causing harsh suffering or extreme anguish) ? ___[Ans.] Yes, Gautam ! They do.
१६. [प्र. ] कहं णं भंते ! जीवा णं कक्कसवेयणिज्जा कम्मा कज्जंति ?
[उ.] गोयमा ! पाणातिवाएणं जाव मिच्छादसणसल्लेणं, एवं खलु गोयमा ! जीवाणं कक्कसवेदणिज्जा कम्मा कज्जंति।
१६. [प्र. ] भगवन् ! जीवों के कर्कशवेदनीय कर्म कैसे बँधते हैं ?
[उ. ] गौतम ! प्राणातिपात से यावत् मिथ्यादर्शन शल्य (१८ पापों के सेवन) से जीवों के कर्कशवेदनीय कर्म बँधते हैं।
16. (Q.) Bhante ! How do jivas acquire bondage of karmas causing harsh suffering or extreme anguish ?
[Ans.) Gautam ! They acquire bondage of such karmas by indulging in killing of beings (pranatipat)... and so on up to... mithyadarshan shalya (the thorn of wrong belief or unrighteousness) (eighteen paap sthanak or sources of sin).
१७. [प्र. ] अस्थि णं भंते ! नेरइयाणं कक्कसवेयणिज्जा कम्मा कज्जंति ? ॐ [उ.] एवं चेव।
