॥पंचमसए : नवमो उद्देसओ समत्तो ॥ १८. [ गाथार्थ-] यह राजगृह नगर क्या है ? दिन में उद्योत और रात्रि में अन्धकार क्यों होता है ? समय आदि काल का ज्ञान किन जीवों को होता है, किनको नहीं? रात्रि-दिवस के विषय में पाश्वजिनशिष्यों के प्रश्न और देवलोक विषयक प्रश्न; इतने विषय इस नौवें उद्देशक में कहे गए हैं।
