mentioned about infernal beings. ॐ [१३ से १६ ] एवं जाव वणस्सइकाइयाणं। नवरं ठिती वण्णेयब्बा जा जस्स, उस्सासो वेमायाए।
[१३ से १६ ] इसी प्रकार अप्काय, तेजस्काय, वायुकाय और वनस्पतिकाय तक के जीवों के ॐ विषय में समझना चाहिए। अन्तर केवल इतना है कि जिसकी जितनी स्थिति हो उसकी उतनी स्थिति + कह देनी तथा इन सबका उच्छ्वास भी विमात्रा से विविध प्रकार से-जानना चाहिए (अर्थात्-स्थिति के के अनुसार वह नियत नहीं है)।

span should be mentioned for each. Their respiration is also indeterminate. ॐ विवेचन : पृथ्वीकायिक जीवों की उत्कृष्ट स्थिति-खर पृथ्वी (कंकड़-पत्थर आदि) की अपेक्षा से २२ हजार वर्ष के 卐 की है क्योंकि सिद्धान्तानुसार स्निग्ध पृथ्वी (काली चिकनी मिट्टी आदि) की १४ हजार वर्ष की, मनःशिला है
(मैनशिल-एक उपधातु) पृथ्वी की १६ हजार वर्ष की, शर्करा पृथ्वी (बालू आदि) की १८ हजार वर्ष की और . खर पृथ्वी की २२ हजार वर्ष की उत्कृष्ट स्थिति मानी गई है। विमात्रा-आहार, विमात्रा-श्वासोच्छ्वासपृथ्वीकायिक जीवों का रहन-सहन विचित्र होने से उनके आहार की कोई मात्रा-आहार की एकरूपता नहीं है। इस कारण उनमें श्वास की मात्रा निश्चित नहीं है कि कब कितना लेते हैं। इनका श्वासोच्छ्वास भी विषम रूप है-विमात्र है। व्याघात-लोक के अन्त में, जहाँ लोक-अलोक की सीमा मिलती है, वहीं व्याघात होना सम्भव है क्योंकि अलोक में आहार योग्य पुद्गल नहीं होते।
शेष स्थावरों की उत्कृष्ट स्थिति-पृथ्वीकाय के अतिरिक्त शेष स्थावरों की उत्कृष्ट स्थिति क्रमशः अप्काय की ७ हजार वर्ष की, तेजस्काय की ३ दिन की, वायुकाय की ३ हजार वर्ष की और वनस्पतिकाय की १० हजार वर्ष की है। (वृत्ति, पत्रांक २९)

according to the established belief that maximum life-span related to 4 Snigdha Prithvi (black and other clays) is 14 thousand years, that related
to Manah-shila Prithvi (minerals like red arsenic) is 16 thousand years, that related to Sharkara Prithvi (sand etc.) is 18 thousand years and that i related to Khar Prithvi is 16 thousand years. Vimatra-ahaar and vimatrashvasochchhavas–Due to the unusual living conditions of the earthbodied beings there are no standards about the quantity of food intake. This the reason that there is not standard breathing period. Here vimatra indicates indefinite or indeterminate. Vyaghat (obstruction)Here obstruction means termination of intake for a short period. This is possible only at the edge of the Lok or occupied space because beyond that, in Alok (unoccupied space), there is total absence of ingestable matter.
