[उ. ] हे गौतम तिष्यकदेव की ऋद्धि एवं विकुर्वणा-शक्ति के समान शक्रेन्द्र के समस्त सामानिक' देवों की ऋद्धि एवं विकुर्वणा-शक्ति आदि के विषय में जानना चाहिए, किन्तु यह विकुर्वणा-शक्ति ॐ देवेन्द्र देवराज शक्र के प्रत्येक सामानिक देव का विषय है, विषयमात्र है, सम्प्राप्ति द्वारा उन्होंने कभी फ़ इतनी विकुर्वणा की नहीं, करते नहीं और भविष्य में करेंगे भी नहीं। शक्रेन्द्र के त्रायस्त्रिंशक, लोकपाल
और अग्रमहिषियों (की ऋद्धि, विकुर्वणा-शक्ति आदि) के विषय में चमरेन्द्र के त्रायस्त्रिंशक आदि ॐ (ऋद्धि आदि) की तरह कहना चाहिए। किन्तु इतना विशेष है कि वे अपने वैक्रियकृत रूपों से दो सम्पूर्ण जम्बूद्वीपों को भरने में समर्थ हैं। शेष समग्र वर्णन चमरेन्द्र की तरह है।
हे भगवन् ! यह इसी प्रकार है, भगवन् ! यह इसी प्रकार है', यों कहकर द्वितीय गौतम अग्निभूति अनगार यावत् विचरण करते हैं।
14. [Q.] Bhante ! When so great is the opulence (riddhi)... and so on , up to... capacity of transmutation (vikurvana) of Tishyak Dev, then how great is the opulence (riddhi)... and so on up to... capacity of transmutation (vikurvana) of the other Samanik Deus (gods of same status) of Devendra Shakra, the Indra (overlord) of Devs (gods)?" ____ [Ans.] Gautam ! The opulence (riddhi) and capacity of transmutation (vikurvana) of the other Samanik Devs (gods of same status) of Devendra
Shakra, the Indra (overlord) of Devs (gods) should be read to be same as ॐ those of Tishyak Dev. However, Gautam ! The aforesaid great power of
Samanik Devs (gods of same status) of Devendra Shakra, the Indra (overlord) of Devs (gods) is theoretical. In practice none of them has ever performed transmutation (to said extant), neither he does, nor will he do. What has been stated about (the opulence etc. of) the Trayastrinshak and others gods of Chamarendra should be repeated here about (the opulence and power of transmutation etc. of) Trayastrinshak and Lok-pal gods as well as Agramahishis (chief queens) of Shakrendra. The difference being that he can pervade an area equivalent to that of two Jambu Dveeps with his transmuted forms. Rest of the description is same as that of Chamarendra.
"Bhante ! Indeed that is so. Indeed that is so." With these words... and so on up to... ascetic Gautam resumed his activities. देववर्ग की ऋद्धि OPULENCE OF GROUPS OF GODS
१५. [प्र. ] 'भंते !' त्ति भगवं तच्चे गोयमे वाउभूई अणगारे भगवं जाव एवं वयासी-जइ णं भंते ! सक्के देविंदे देवराया एमहिड्ढीए जाव एवइयं च णं पभू विउवित्तए, ईसाणे णं भंते ! देविंदे देवराया केमहिड्ढीए ?
