4 follows-Chamarendra performs Vaikriya Samudghat and from his body
creates a countable Yojans long rod, ejects gross (worthless) particles and acquires fine particles of gems like Karketan... and so on up to... Risht. After this he once again performs Vaikriya Samudghat. O Gautam ! With
this process that Chamarendra, the overlord of Asurs, has the power to 卐 pervade (akirna), merge (vyatikirna), enshroud (upastirna), envelope
(samstirna), touch (sprisht) and tightly pack (gaadhavagaadh) the whole of Jambudveep continent (in this transverse world) with numerous Asur Kumar gods and goddesses (thus created and matching the size of his body), exactly like a young man tightly holds the hand of a young woman or as spokes of a wheel are tightly held by its axle. Moreover, O Gautam ! That Chamarendra, the overlord of Asurs, has the power to pervade (akirna), merge (vyatikirna), enshroud (upastirna), envelope (samstirna), touch (sprisht) and tightly pack (gaadhavagaadh) an area covering innumerable islands and seas in this transverse world with numerous Asur Kumar gods and goddesses. (This means that with his power of transmutation Chamarendra can create so many forms that are enough to fill an area covering innumerable islands and seas.)
However, Gautam ! The aforesaid great power of Chamarendra, the overlord of Asurs is theoretical. In practice Chamarendra has never
performed transmutation (to aforesaid extant), neither he does, nor will 4 he do. की विवेचन : देवनिकाय में दस कोटि के देव-(१) इन्द्र, (२) सामानिक, (३) त्रायस्त्रिंश, (४) पारिषद्य,
(५) आत्मरक्षक, (६) लोकपाल, (७) अनीक, (८) प्रकीर्णक, (९) आभियोग्य, और (१०) किल्विषिक। ये दस के भेद प्रत्येक देवनिकाय में होते हैं, किन्तु व्यन्तर और ज्योतिष्क देवों में त्रायस्त्रिंश और लोकपाल नहीं होते। दसों 5 में से यहाँ पाँच का उल्लेख है, उनके अर्थ इस प्रकार हैं-(१) इन्द्र-अन्य देवों से असाधारण अणिमादि गुणों से
सुशोभित तथा सामानिक आदि सभी प्रकार के देवों का स्वामी। (२) सामानिक-आज्ञा और ऐश्वर्य के सिवाय 5 आयु, वीर्य, परिवार, भोग-उपभोग आदि में इन्द्र के समान ऋद्धि वाले। (३) त्रायस्त्रिंश-जो देव मंत्री और के पुरोहित का काम करते हैं, ये संख्या में ३३ ही होते हैं। (४) लोकपाल-आरक्षक के समान अर्थचर, लोक - (जनता) का पालन-रक्षण करने वाले। (५) आत्मरक्षक-जो अंगरक्षक के समान शस्त्र धारण किये इन्द्र की रक्षा %में खड़े रहते हैं। F Elaboration—In the divine genus (Dev-nikaya) there are ten classes
of gods-(1) Indra, (2) Samanik, (3) Trayastrinshak, (4) Parishadya,
(5) Atmarakshak, (6) Lok-pal, (7) Aneek, (8) Prakirnak, (9) Aabhiyogya, F and (10) Kilvishik. This is applicable to all divine genuses except that F Vyantar and Jyotishk genuses do not have Trayastrinshak and Lok-pal
