3. [Q.] Bhante ! How long does the pregnancy of animals (tiryakyonik garbh) last in that state as animal ?
[Ans.] Gautam ! The pregnancy of animals lasts in that state as animal for a minimum of one Antarmuhurt and maximum of eight years. ४. [ प्र.] मणुस्सीगब्भे णं भंते! 'मणुस्सीगब्भे' त्ति कालओ केवच्चिरं होइ ?
[उ.] गोयमा ! जहन्त्रेणं अंतोमुहुत्तं, उक्कोसेणं बारस संवच्छराई ।
४. [ प्र.] भगवन् ! मानुषीगर्भ कितने समय तक मानुषीगर्भरूप में रहता है ?
[ उ. ] गौतम ! जघन्य अन्तर्मुहूर्त्त और उत्कृष्ट बारह वर्ष तक मानुषीगर्भ मानुषीगर्भरूप में रहता है। 4. [Q.] Bhante ! How long does the pregnancy of humans (manushi garbh) last in that state as animal?
[Ans.] Gautam ! The pregnancy of humans lasts in that state as human for a minimum of one Antarmuhurt and maximum of twelve years.
५. [ प्र. ] कायभवत्थे णं भंते ! 'कायभवत्थे' त्ति कालओ केवच्चिरं होइ ?
[उ. ] गोयमा ! जहन्नेणं अंतोमुहुत्तं, उक्कोसेणं चउव्वीसं संवच्छराई ।
५. [ प्र. ] भगवन् ! काय भवस्थ कितने समय तक काय-भवस्थ रूप में रहता है ?
उ.] गौतम ! जघन्य अन्तर्मुहूर्त्त और उत्कृष्ट चौबीस वर्ष तक काय - भवस्थ काय - भवस्थ के रूप रहता है।

[Ans.] Gautam ! A kaya-bhavasth lasts in that state as kaya-bhavasth for a minimum of one Antarmuhurt and maximum of twenty four years.
६. [ प्र. ] मणुस्स-पंचेंदियतिरिक्खजोणियबीए णं भंते ! जोणिन्भूए केवइयं कालं संचिट्ठइ ? [ उ. ] गोयमा ! जहन्त्रेणं अंतोमुहुत्तं, उक्कोसेणं बारस मुहुत्ता।
६. [ प्र. ] भगवन् ! मानुषी और पंञ्चेन्द्रियतिर्यञ्ची - सम्बन्धी योनिगत बीज (वीर्य) योनिभूतरूप में कितने समय तक रहता है ?
[ उ. ] गौतम ! जघन्य अन्तर्मुहूर्त्त और उत्कृष्ट बारह मुहूर्त्त ।
