म [उ. ] गोयमा ! दवओ णं अणंतपएसियाई दवाइं, खेत्तओ णं असंखेज्जपएसोगाढाइं, कालओ
अन्नयरद्वितीयाई, भावओ वण्णमंताई गंधमंताई रसमंताई फासमंताई आणमंति वा पाणमंति वा ऊससंति म वा नीससंति वा।
४. [प्र. १ ] भगवन् ! ये एकेन्द्रिय जीव बाह्य और आभ्यन्तर उच्छ्वास के रूप में किस प्रकार के म द्रव्यों को ग्रहण करते हैं और छोड़ते हैं ? 2 [उ. ] गौतम ! द्रव्य की अपेक्षा अनन्तप्रदेश वाले द्रव्यों को, क्षेत्र की अपेक्षा असंख्यप्रदेशों में रहे के हुए द्रव्यों को, काल की अपेक्षा किसी भी प्रकार की स्थिति वाले (एक समय की, दो समय की स्थिति
वाले इत्यादि) द्रव्यों को, तथा भाव की अपेक्षा वर्ण वाले, गन्ध वाले, रस वाले और स्पर्श वाले द्रव्यों को म बाह्य और आभ्यन्तर उच्छ्वास के रूप में ग्रहण करते हैं तथा निःश्वास के रूप में छोड़ते हैं।
____4. [Q. 1] Bhante ! What type of substances do these one-sensed beings breathe-in and breathe-out as well as inhale and exhale?
(Ans.) Gautam ! They breathe-in and breathe-out as well as inhale and exhale substances with infinite space-points (anant pradesh) in context of substance; substances existing in innumerable space-points in context of area; substances with any duration of existence (of one, two or more Samaya) in context of time; and substances having attributes of colour (varna), smell (gandh), taste (rasa) and touch (sparsh) in context of state (bhaava).
[प्र. २ ] जाइं भावओ वण्णमंताई आणमंति पाणमंति, ऊससंति, नीससंति ताइं किं एगवण्णाई में आणमंति वा पाणमंति ऊस. नीससंतिवा ? __ [उ. ] आहारगमो नेयब्बो जाव ति-चउ-पंचदिसिं।
[प्र. २ ] भगवन् ! वे पृथ्वीकायादि एकेन्द्रिय जीव भाव की अपेक्षा वर्ण वाले जिन द्रव्यों को बाह्य ! और आभ्यन्तर श्वासोच्छ्वास के रूप में ग्रहण करते और छोड़ते हैं, क्या वे द्रव्य एक वर्ण वाले हैं ?
[उ. ] गौतम ! जैसा कि प्रज्ञापनासूत्र के अट्ठाईसवें आहारपद में कथन किया है, वैसा ही यहाँ समझना चाहिए। यावत् वे तीन, चार, पाँच दिशाओं की ओर से श्वासोच्छ्वास के पुद्गलों को ग्रहण
करते हैं। E [Q.2] Bhante! In context of state (bhaava), are the substances. These i one sensed beings (including earth-bodied beings) breathe-in and i breathe-out (as well as inhale and exhale) of one colour (varna)? : [Ans.] In this context it should be read as mentioned in the twenty
eighth chapter, Aahaar-pad, of Prajnapana Sutra... and so on up to... i have intake of breathable particles from three, four and five directions.
