महापुराणे उत्तरपुराणम् विहत्य विहति त्यक्त्वा मासं सम्मेवपर्वते । सहस्त्रमुनिमिः साई प्रतिमायोगमास्थितः ॥१७॥ वैशाखे मासि कृष्णायां चतुर्दश्यां निशात्यये । मुक्तिमश्ब्याहनक्षत्रे नमिस्तीर्थकरोडगमत् ॥१८॥ अकुर्वन्पञ्चमं देवाः कल्याणं चाखिलेशिनः । स्वं स्वमोकश्च सम्प्राप्तपुण्यपण्याः प्रपेदिरे ॥ ६९॥
च्छन्दः कनकनकविग्रहो विहितविग्रहो घातिभिः
सहाहितजयो जयेति च नुतो नतै किभिः । भियं भवभवां बहुं नयतु नः क्षयं नायको
विनेयविदुषां स्वयं विहतविग्रहोऽन्ते नमिः ॥ ७० ॥
शालविक्रीडितम् कौशाम्ब्यां प्रथितस्तृतीयजनने सिद्धार्थनामा नृपः
कृत्वा तत्र तपोऽतिधोरमभवत्तर्येऽमरोऽनुत्तरे। तस्मादेत्य पुरे बभूव मिथिलानाम्नीन्द्रवयो नमि
स्तीर्थेशस्त्रिजगद्धितार्थवचनव्यक्स्यैकविंशो जिनः ॥१॥
पृथ्वीवृत्तम् नमिन मितसामरामरपतिः पतञ्चामरो
श्रमझमरविभ्रमभ्रमितपुष्पवृष्ट्युत्करः । करोतु चरणारविन्दमकरन्दसम्पायिनां
विनेयमधुपायिनामविरतोस्तृप्तिं जिनः ॥ ७२ ॥ जगत्त्रयजयोसिकमोहमाहात्म्यमर्दनात् । एकविंशो जिनो लटधलक्ष्मीलक्ष्मी ददातु नः ॥ ३ ॥ मान हुए। वहाँ उन्होंने एक हजार मुनियों के साथ प्रतिमा योग धारण कर लिया और वैशाखकृष्ण 'चतुर्दशीके दिन रात्रिके अन्तिम समय अश्विनी नक्षत्रमें मोक्ष प्राप्त कर लिया ॥६६-६८ ॥ उसी समय देवोंने आकर सबके स्वामी श्री नमिनाथ तीर्थंकरका पञ्चम-निर्वाणकल्याणकका उत्सव किया,
और तदनन्तर पुण्यरूपी पदार्थको प्राप्त हुए सब देव अपने-अपने स्थानको चले गये ।। ६६ ।। जिनका शरीर सुवर्णके समान देदीप्यमान था, जिन्होंने घातिया कर्मोके साथ युद्ध किया था, समस्त अहितोंको जीता था अथवा विजय प्राप्त की थी, नम्रीभूत देव जय-जय करते हुए जिनकी स्तुति करते थे, जो विद्वान् शिष्योंके स्वामी थे और अन्त में जिन्होंने शरीर नष्ट कर दिया था--मोक्ष प्राप्त किया था वे श्री नमिनाथ स्वामी हम सबके संसार-सम्बन्धी बहुत भारी भयको नष्ट करें ।। ७०।। जो तीसरे भवमें कौशाम्बी नगरमें सिद्धार्थ नामके प्रसिद्ध राजा थे, वहाँ पर घोर तपश्चरण कर जो अनुत्तरके चतुर्थ अपराजित विमानमें देव हुए और वहाँसे आकर जो मिथिला नगरीमें इन्द्रोंके द्वारा वन्दनीय तीनों जगत्के हितकारी वचनोंको प्रकट करनेके लिए नमिनाथ नामक इक्कीसवें तीर्थकर हुए, जिन्होंने देवों सहित समस्त इन्द्रोंसे नमस्कार कराया था, जिनपर चमर ढोरे जा रहे थे और जिनपर उड़ते हुए भ्रमरोंसे सुशोभित पुष्पवृष्टियोंका समूह पड़ा करता था ऐसे श्री नमिनाथ भगवान् चरण-कमलके मकरन्द-रसको पान करनेवाले शिष्य रूपी भ्रमरोंके लिए निरन्तर संतोष प्रदान करते रहें ।।७१-७२।। तीनों जगत्को जीतनेसे जिसका गर्व बढ़ रहा है ऐसे मोहका माहात्म्य मर्दन करनेसे जिन्हें मोक्ष-लक्ष्मी प्राप्त हुई है ऐसे श्री नमिनाथ भगवान् हम सबके लिए भी मोक्ष-लक्ष्मी प्रदान करें ॥७३॥
१ नमितीर्थ-म०, ल०। २ अहितानां जयः, अथवा अाहितो धृतो जयो वेन सः। भवः संसारो भवः कारण यस्यास्ताम् मियम् ।

The gods, having performed the fifth Kalyanak of the Lord of all beings, Naminatha Tirthankara, having received their own share of merit, departed to their respective abodes. ||69||

Whose body shone like gold, who had conquered the enemies of the soul, who had achieved victory over all evils, who was praised by the gods with the words "Victory, Victory," who was the master of learned disciples, and who finally abandoned his body and attained liberation, may Lord Naminatha destroy the great fear of the world for all of us. ||70||

In the third birth, he was a famous king named Siddhartha in Kaushambi. There, he performed severe austerities and became a god in the fourth, unconquerable, celestial chariot. From there, he came to Mithila and became the twenty-first Tirthankara, Naminatha, who revealed words for the benefit of the three worlds, who was worshipped by the Indras, who was adorned with the dust of the feet of the gods, and who was showered with flowers carried by bees. May Lord Naminatha, whose lotus feet are constantly enjoyed by the bees of his disciples, grant continuous satisfaction to them. ||71-72||

May the twenty-first Tirthankara, Naminatha, who conquered the three worlds, who destroyed the power of delusion, and who attained the wealth of liberation, grant us the wealth of liberation. ||73||
