महापुराणम् (घातिकमंत्रयं हत्वा सम्प्राप्तनवकेवलः । सयोगस्थानमाक्रम्य वियोगो वीतकल्मषः ॥२४॥) 'शरीरत्रितयापायाद् आविष्कृतगुणोत्करः। अनन्तशान्तमप्रायमवाप सुखमुत्तमम् ॥२४॥ तस्य राज्यश्च ताः सर्वा विधाय विविधं तपः । स्वर्गलोके स्वयोग्योरुविमानेष्वभवन् सुराः ॥२५०॥ पावां चाकण्यं तं नत्वा गत्वा नाकं निजोचितम्' । अनुभूय सुखं प्रान्ते' शेषपुण्यविशेषतः ॥२५॥ इहागताविति व्यक्तं व्याजहार सुलोचना। जयोऽपि स्वप्रियाप्रज्ञाप्रभावादतुषत्तदा ॥२५२॥ तदा सदस्सदः सर्वे प्रतीय 'स्तदुदाहृतम्। कः प्रत्यतिन दुष्टश्चेत् सदभिनिगदितं वचः॥२५३॥ एवं सुखन साम्राज्यभोगसार निरन्तरम । भुञ्जानौ रञ्जितान्योन्यौ कालं गमयतः स्म तौ ॥२५४॥ तदा खगभवावाप्तप्रज्ञप्तिप्रमुखाः श्रिताः। विद्यास्तां च महीशं च सम्प्रीत्या तौ ननन्दतुः ॥२५॥ तद् बलात् कान्तया सार्द्ध विहतु सुरगोचरान् । वाञ्छन् देशान् निजं राज्यं नियोज्य विजयेऽनुजे ॥२५६॥ यथेष्टं सप्रियो विद्यावाहनः सरितां पतीन् ।कलशलान्नदीरम्यवनानि विविधान्यपि ॥२५७॥
विहरनन्यदा मेघस्वरः कैलासशैलजे। वने सुलोचनाभ्यर्णाद् असौ किञ्चिदपासरत् ॥२५८॥ चिन्तवन करते हुए ज्ञानावरण, दर्शनावरण और अन्तराय इन तीन घातिया कर्मोंको नष्ट कर नौ केवललब्धियां प्राप्त की, सयोगकेवली गुणस्थानमें पहुंचकर क्रमसे योगरहित होकर सब कर्म नष्ट किये और अन्त में औदारिक, तैजस, कार्माण-तीनों शरीरोंके नाशसे गणोंका समूह प्रकट कर अनन्त, शान्त, नवीन और उत्तम सुख प्राप्त किया ॥२४६-२४९।। श्रीपाल चक्रवर्तीकी सब रानियां भी अनेक प्रकारका तप तपकर स्वर्गलोकमें अपने अपने योग्य बड़े बड़े विमानोंमें देव हुई ॥२५०॥ सुलोचना जयकुमारसे कह रही है कि हम दोनों भी ये सब कथाएं सुनकर एवं गुणपाल तीर्थङ्कर को नमस्कार कर स्वर्ग चले गये थे और वहां यथायोग्य सुख भोगकर आयुके अन्तमें बाकी बचे हुए पुण्यविशेषसे यहां उत्पन्न हुए हैं। ये सब कथाएं सुलोचनाने स्पष्ट शब्दोंमें कही थीं और जयकुमार भी अपनी प्रियाकी बुद्धिके प्रभावसे उस समय अत्यन्त संतुष्ट हुआ था ॥२५१-२५२॥ उस समय सभामें बैठे हुए सभी लोगोंने सलोचना के कहनेपर विश्वास किया सो ठीक ही है, क्योंकि जो दुष्ट नहीं है वह ऐसा कौन है जो सज्जनों के द्वारा कहे हुए वचनोंपर विश्वास न करे ॥२५३॥ इस प्रकार साम्राज्य तथा श्रेष्ठ भोगोंका निरन्तर उपभोग करते और परस्पर एक दूसरेको प्रसन्न करते हुए वे दोनों सुखसे समय बिताने लगे ॥२५४॥ उसी समय पहले विद्याधरके भवमें लक्ष्मीको बढ़ानेवाली जो प्रज्ञप्ति आदि विद्याएं थीं वे भी बड़े प्रेमसे जयकुमार और सुलोचना दोनोंको प्राप्त हो गई ॥२५५।। उन विद्याओंके बलसे महाराज जयकुमारने अपनी प्रिया-सुलोचनाके साथ देवोंके योग्य देशोंमें विहार करनेकी इच्छा की और इसलिये ही अपने छोटे भाई विजयकुमारको राज्यकार्यमें नियक्त कर दिया ॥२५६॥
तदनन्तर जिसकी सवारियां विद्याके द्वारा बनी हुई हैं ऐसा वह जयकुमार अपनी प्रिया-सुलोचनाके साथ साथ समुद्र, कुलाचल और अनेक प्रकारके-मनोहर वनोंमें विहार करता
१ संप्राप्तक्षायिकज्ञानदर्शनसम्यक्त्वचारित्रदानलाभभोगोपभोगवीर्याणीतिनवकेवललब्धिः। २ औदारिकशारीरकार्मणमिति शरीरत्रयविनाशात् । ३ अनन्तं शान्तमप्राप्तमवाप्तः इ०, अ०, स०, ल०, प० । अप्रायमनुपमम् । 'प्रायश्चानशने मृत्यौ तुल्यबाहुल्ययोरपि' इत्यभिधानात् । ४ यथोचितम् ल०, प०, अ०, स०, इ० । ५ आयुरन्ते । ६ उवाच। ७ सदः सीदन्तीति सदस्सदः । सभां प्राप्ता इत्यर्थः । ८ विश्वस्तवन्तः । ६ सुलोचनावचनम्। १० न श्रद्दधाति । ११ हिरण्यवर्मप्रभावतीभवे प्राप्त । १२ सुलोचनाम् । १३ जयम् । १४ बधितश्रियः ला०, प०, इ०, स० । १५ प्रज्ञप्त्यादिविद्याबलात् । १६ पतिम् ल०, प०, इ०, स०। १७ अपसरति स्म ।

Therefore, he appointed his younger brother Vijayakumar to the affairs of the kingdom. ||256||
Thereafter, Jayakumar, whose vehicles were made by knowledge, roamed with his beloved Sulochana in the oceans, Kulachal mountains, and various beautiful forests.
