The thirty-sixth chapter, having made the ears vessels, drink the Dharma-rasa. The wise, to attain immortality, should apply themselves to this. ||36|| Surely, I have established myself in the middle of the ocean of the Puranas, which is full of merit. I am certain that I have collected the jewels of good sayings. ||37|| I have no fear that this ocean of the Puranas is very deep and far-reaching. The great teachers, the Jinasena Acharyas, are ahead of me, and they are rare everywhere. ||38|| The perfection of this Purana is indicated by its own name. I will speak of it here, and I am not anxious whether I will be able to do it or not. ||39|| The followers of Jinasena Acharya, having attained the path of the Purana, surely desire to cross the ocean of existence. What need is there to speak of crossing the Purana? ||40|| The meaning is in the mind, the words are on the tip of the tongue, and the ornaments of both are well-known. Therefore, there is no delay in the completion of this Purana. ||41|| Just as there is no lack of jewels in a mine, so there is no lack of reasoning or substance in the mind of one who has them. Then, what poverty is there for a poet who has many kinds of ornaments? ||42|| My composition is like a very beautiful woman, for just as a beautiful woman walks in many ways, so this composition also has many kinds of words. Just as a beautiful woman is full of rasa, so this composition is also full of many rasas. And just as a beautiful woman is adorned with ornaments like necklaces and earrings, so this composition is also adorned with ornaments like similes and metaphors. Thus, my composition is like a beautiful woman, so how can it not fulfill the desires of anyone? ||43|| This auspicious composition will destroy the accumulated sins of the past, and it will control and guide those who come after. It is a good composition that should be meditated upon. ||44||
