महापुराणम् त्वत्पुत्रा' इव मत्पुत्रा भूयासुश्चिरजीविनः। इत्युदाहृत्य सस्याहें तत्क्षप्तव्यं महीतले ॥१२४॥ क्षीरवृक्षोपशाखाभिः उपहृत्य च भूतलम् । स्नाप्या तत्रास्य माताऽसौ सुखोष्णमन्त्रितर्जलः ॥१२॥ सम्यग्दृष्टिपदं बोध्यविषयं द्विरुदीरयेत् । पदमासन्नभव्येति तद्वद विश्वेश्वरेत्यपि ॥१२६॥ तत जितपुण्यति जिनमातृपदं तथा । स्वाहान्तो मन्त्र एषः स्यान्मातुः स्नानसंविधौ ॥१२७॥
चूणिः-सम्यग्दष्टे सम्यग्दृष्टे पासनभव्ये आसन्नभव्ये विश्वश्वर विश्वेश्वरे अजितपुण्ये जितपुण्ये जिनमातः जिनमातः स्वाहा ।
यथा जिनाम्बिका पुत्रकल्याणान्यभिपश्यति । तथेयमपि मत्पत्नीत्यास्थयेयं विधि भजेत् ॥१२८॥ तृतीयेऽहनि चानन्तज्ञानदी भवेत्यमुम्। पालोकयेत्समुत्क्षिप्य निशि ताराडाकितं नभः ॥१२६॥ पुण्याहघोषणापूर्व कर्याद दानं च शक्तितः। यथायोग्यं विदध्याच्च सर्वस्याभयघोषणाम् ॥१३०॥ जातकर्मविधिः सोऽयम् अाम्नातः पूर्वसूरिभिः। यथायोगमनष्ठेयः सोऽद्यत्वेऽपि द्विजोत्तमैः ॥१३॥ नामकर्मविधाने च मन्त्रोऽयमनु कीय॑ते । सिद्धार्चनविधौ सप्त मन्त्राः प्रागनुवणिताः ॥१३२॥ ततो दिव्याष्टसहस्रनामभागी भवादिकम् । पदत्रितयमुच्चार्य मन्त्रोऽत्र परिवर्त्यताम् ॥१३३॥
चूणिः-'दिव्यास्त्रसहस्रनामभागी भव, विजयाष्टसहस्त्रनामभागी भव, परमाष्ट सहस्रनामभागी भव' । मत पुत्राः चिरंजीविनी भूयासुः' (हे पृथ्वी तेरे पुत्र-कुलपर्वतोंके समान मेरे पुत्र भी चिरंजीवी हों) यह कहकर घान्य उत्पन्न होनेके योग्य खेतमें जमीनपर वह मल डाल देना चाहिये • ॥१२२-१२४॥ तदनन्तर क्षीर वृक्षकी डालियोंसे पृथिवीको सुशोभित कर उसपर उस पूत्रकी माताको बिठाकर मंत्रित किये हुए सहाते गर्म जलसे स्नान कराना चाहिये ।।१२५।। माताको स्नान करानेका मन्त्र यह है-प्रथम ही सम्बोधनान्त सम्यग्दृष्टि पदको दो बार कहना चाहिये फिर आसन्नभव्या, विश्वेश्वरी, अजितपुण्या, और जिन माता इन पदोंको भी सम्बोध. नान्त कर दो दो बार बोलना चाहिये और अन्तमें स्वाहा शब्द पढ़ना चाहिये । भावार्थसम्यग्दृष्टे सम्यग्दृष्टे आसन्नभव्ये आसन्नभव्ये विश्वेश्वरि विश्वेश्वरि ऊजितपुप्ये अजितपुण्ये जिनमातः जिनमातः स्वाहा (हे सम्यग्दृष्टि, हे निकटभव्य, हे सबकी स्वामिनी, हे अत्यन्त पुण्य संचय करनेवाली, जिन माता तू कल्याण करनेवाली हो) यह मन्त्र पुत्रकी माताको स्नान कराते समय बोलना चाहिये ।।१२६-१२७॥ जिस प्रकार जिनेन्द्रदेवकी माता पुत्रके कल्याणोंको देखती है उसी प्रकार यह मेरी पत्नी भी देखे ऐसी श्रद्धासे यह स्नानकी विधि करनी चाहिये ॥१२८॥ तीसरे दिन रातके समय 'अनन्तज्ञानदी भव' (तू अनन्तज्ञानको देखनेवाला हो) यह मन्त्र पढ़कर उस पुत्रको गोदीमें उठाकर ताराओंसे सुशोभित आकाश दिखाना चाहिये ॥१२९॥ उसी दिन पुण्याहवाचनके साथ साथ शक्तिके अनुसार दान करना चाहिये और जितना बन सके उतना सब जीवोंके अभयकी घोषणा करनी चाहिये ॥१३०।। इस प्रकार पूर्वाचार्योने यह जन्मोत्सवकी विधि मानी है-कही है। उत्तम द्विजको आज भी इसका यथायोग्य रीतिसे अनुष्ठान करना चाहिये ।।१३१॥
___ अब आगे नामकर्म करते समय जिन मंत्रोंका प्रयोग होता है उन्हें कहते हैं-इस विधिमें सिद्ध भगवान्की पूजा करनेके लिये जिन सात पीठिका मंत्रोंका प्रयोग होता है उन्हें पहले ही कह चुके हैं। उनके आगे 'दिव्याष्टसहस्रनामभागी भव' आदि तीनों पदोंका उच्चारण कर मन्त्र परिवर्तित कर लेना चाहिये अर्थात् 'दिव्याष्टसहस्रनामभागी भव' (एक हजार आठ दिव्य नामोंका पानेवाला हो), 'विजयाष्टसहस्रनामभागी भव' (विजयरूप एक हजार आठ
