6. तुंब (and not रुंब as read in foot-notes)-This is the sixth story in both the versions. T. reads : तुम्बकथा रोषेण दत्तकटुककुभोजनमुनिकथा. The story in the ज्ञाताधर्मकथा is different as can be seen from its summary in the com. which runs as follows:
जह मिउलेवालितं गरुयं तुम्बं बहो वयइ एवं । आसवकयकम्मगुरू जीवा वच्चन्ति अहरगयं ॥१॥ तं चेव्व तविमुक्कं जलोवार ठाइ जायलहभावं ।
जह तह कम्मविमुक्का लोयग्गपइट्रिया होन्ति ॥२॥ 7. संघाद-This is called संघाड and is the second in the Svetāmbara version. T. reads :-संघादे । अस्य कथा। कौशाम्ब्यां नगर्यामिन्द्रदत्तादयो द्वात्रिंशदिभ्याः, तेषां समुद्रदत्तादयो द्वात्रिंशत्पुत्राः परस्परमित्रत्वमुपागताः। सम्यग्दृष्टयस्ते केवलिसमीपे स्वल्पं निजजीवितं ज्ञात्वा तपो गृहीत्वा यमुनातीरे पादोपयान (पादपोपगमन ?) मरणेन स्थिताः। अतिवृष्टी जातायां जलप्रवाहेणं यमुनामध्ये सर्वेऽपि ते पातिताः । परमसमाधिना कालं कृत्वा स्वर्ग गताः. The narrative in ज्ञाताधर्मकथा is altogether different from the above.
8. मादंगि-It appears that मायन्दी which is the ninth story in the Svetāmbara version should be the counterpart of Argift of the Digambara version. T. seems to make at firsfees as one narrative which would however reduce the number of narratives to eighteen. T. reads : मादंगिमल्लिकथा यथा वज्रमुष्टिमहाभटभार्याया मंगि (मादंगि?) नामायाः मल्लिपुष्पमालाभ्यन्तरस्थितसर्पदष्टायाः कथा. The narratives of the Svetāmbaras and the Digambaras do not at all agree.
9. मल्लि-This is the eighth narrative in the ज्ञाताधर्मकथा. For remarks see above.
10. चंदिमा-This is the tenth narrative in both the versions. T. says: चंदिमा चन्द्रावधकथा (चन्द्रवृद्धि कथा). Perhaps both the versions give the same narrative.
11. तावद्दव-The eleventh narrative in the Svetambara version is called दावद्दव which is the name of a tree in that version. T. however seems to mean a different story. T. reads : तावद्दव तोपद्रवदेशोत्पन्नघोटकहरणसगरचक्रवर्तिकथा.
12. तिका-It appears that this तिका should correspond with तेयली which is the fourteenth story is the ज्ञाताधर्मकथा. T. reads : तिका मनुष्यकरोडिसमुत्थितवंशत्रिकस्य कर्कण्डमहाराजकृतच्छत्रे ध्वजांकुशदण्डकथा. The Svetāmbara version of तेयली does not seem to agree with the above.
13. तडाया-This teems to correspond to पददर which is the thirteenth story is the Svetāmbara version. T. reads : तराया तडागपाल्यामेकवृक्षकोटरस्थिततपस्विनो गन्धर्वारघनकथितकथा.. This has no correspondence with दददर of the Svetāmbara version.
