INTRODUCTION
Anikatyāyana
Dr. Schrader mentions Aitikayana instead of this and identifies him as a teacher of Karma-mīmāmsā.
Jaimini
He is the celebrated founder of the school of Karma philosophy or the pūrva-mīmāmsā. He has interpreted Upanisad text and has expressed his views as to the nature of the soul after liberation. He is referred to in the following Vedanta sūtras:
I. 2.28; I. 2.31; I. 3.31; I. 4.18; III. 2.40; III. 4.2; III. 4.18; III. 4.40; IV. 3.12; IV. 4.5 and IV. 4.11.
He is the author of Smṛti-mīmāmsā and denies independent authority of Kalpasūtras.
Marici

Dr. Schrader reads Marici and Kumara together and identifies him with the grandson of Lord Rṣabha. We find a sage 1 Marici by name relied upon as an authority by Apararka Smṛti-candrika, etc., on Ahnika etc. There is a work entitled Marici-smrti.
Kapila
From the concluding verse of the Sankhya-kärikā, the first syste matic exposition of the Sankhya dualism, we learn that Kapila is one of the foremost renowned teachers of this philosophy, the other three being Asuri, Pañcaśikha and Isvarakṛṣṇa.
The traditional author of the Purusa-sukta of the Rg-veda, attested by Mudgala Upanisad as the starting point of the Sankhya system is Nārāyaṇa or Kapila.

In the Svetasvatara Upanisad Kapila is regarded as the wise son of Brahman. This agrees with the legend in Santi-parvan where he is described as the Manasa-putra (the mind-begotten son) of Brahman. the Bhāgavata-purana (at the end of book III), he is mentioned as an incarnation of Visnu.

Ullaka (Uluka)—
Dr. Schrader reads Uluka and identifies him with Kanäda, the founder of the Vaiseṣika system. Māṭhara-vṛtti on kārikā 71 mentions Ulūka ". The Chinese translation of the commentary on the Sankhya
