The greatest distinction of Muni Shri Nagraji's book is that communal and religious bias nowhere finds a place in it. The author is an accomplished Jaina Muni and his comprehensive outlook has made this volume extremely significant.
Another outstanding characteristic of the volume is the synthesis of an impartial outlook and depth of research. Not only will the book find a place of honour among the Jaina and Buddhist communities, but every scholar who is keen to study the two streams of SRAMANA culture, will express the highest admiration for it.
I heartily welcome this book. I also await with interest the appearance of its remaining three volumes which I hope Muni Shri Nagrajji will publish soon. It will be a great boon for scholars.

जैन आगम ग्रन्थ भी एक विशाल वाङ्मय है । और त्रिपिटक के अन्तर्गत जिन पालि-ग्रन्थों की गिनती की जाती है, वे भी लगभग तीन महाभारतों के बराबर हैं। इस सारे वाङ्मय को मथकर उसका एक प्रकार से नवनीत निकाल कर रख देना सहज कार्य नहीं था । 'आगम और त्रिपिटक' इस बात का प्रमाण है कि सतत् किये गये परिश्रम से दुष्कर कार्य भी सहज रूप से सिद्ध हो जाते हैं ।
