index, the diagrams and the other appendices are extremely useful additions to the prayers who are till now not in any sense known in Europe as they are worth to be! We European scholars generally read only the philosophical books and biographies of the Jains, but up to date we did not know what a great treasure of religious feelings and high-class poetry is invested in your prayers ! Many thanks for this welcomed gift ! I hope that you will be in a position further to pursue your edition of such jewels of your religion ! That will be a good help for the science of India, of Jainism, of the general history of religions, and you will get many friends by this work !
