जैन दर्शन और प्राधुनिक विज्ञान पूर्व और पश्चिम के उल्लिखित अनुसन्धानों से हमें यही रहस्य मिलता है कि उनका मुख्य लक्ष्य पृथ्वी चलती है या सूर्य यह न होकर ग्रह गणों की स्थिति में प्राकृतिक नियमों से जो कुछ हो रहा है, उसका मूल सूत्र कहाँ है, यह रहा है । इसी का परिणाम यहाँ तक पहुँचा कि सूर्य को मध्य बिन्दु मान लेना कुछ गारिणतिक सुविधायें उत्पन्न करता है । स्थिर और चर की अपेक्षा में सत्य क्या है यह विषय आज भी वैज्ञानिकों की आँखों से ओझल है। पृथ्वी ही चलती है इसे मान कर जो वैज्ञानिक मागे बढ़े आईंस्टीन के युग ने उन्हें एक कदम पुनः पीछे की ओर खिसका लिया है।
