( body of the knower) and bhasya-Sarira body to which is attributed a condition of some future existence after death the varieties noted as under in the bhasya on Nisitha ;
'मूलोत्तरो य दव्वे मूलगुणनिव्वत्तितो
farosafe, (Nisitha) JARUM aratat carcas
So this may be looked upon as a sort of dilation, for this very reason the date of the composition of Anuyogadvara is earlier than that of the composition of the bhasya on Nisitha, Further, if the author of the bhasya on Nisitha is non-distinct from that of the bhasya on Brhatkalpa it gets proved that the bhasya on Brhatkalpa is composed at a date posterior to that of the composition of Anuyogadvara. Anuyogadvara is earlier than even Nandi; for the name of Anuyogadvara is mentioned in Nandi and the author of Nandi is very ancient, So this much becomes certain that the date of the author of the bhasya is later than the first or the second century of the vikrama era, and not earlier. This date is not later than the first or the second century the vikrama era, and not earlier. This date is not later than the fourth cenury i, e. to say he flourished sometime between the second and the fourth centuries.
From the safer statement made by the commentator (Simhasura Gani) in his commentary on Nayacakra it may be conjectioned that there must have been a bhasya on Nandisutra. He has first of all quoted an aphorism of Nandi on p. 219 and there after saying 'acarealacatania' he has introduced the verse d ac 319 Later on, on p. 462 he has mentioned this very statement (Pabha). There he has not stated the name of the sutra, the bhasya or its exposition subsquently on p. 749 he has quoted the verse "agt rasa" after stating 'afa af straf Hence it is inforced that there must be a bhasya on Nandi by way of its exposition.
In spite of this, the verse here quoted as belonging to the bhasya, is found in the bhasya on Brhatkalpa with a very slight difference. Just as the another of Nandisutra has incorporated verses of the Niryukti so perhaps the commentator may have done so in the case of this verse of the bhasya on verse Brhatkalpa or it may be that this very verse of the bhasya on Nandi may have been in. corporated by the another of the bhasya on Brahatkalpa in his bhasya, Whatever it may be, the commentator of Naya cakra takes it to beverse belonging to the bhasya. If this bhasya on Nandi was extent in his days and he may have made this reference, the following questions arise:
1. How many verses were there in the 'bhasya' on 'Nandi"? 2. Who composed this 'bhasya"? 3. When did he flourish ?
The 'Mulakara (mallavadin) has no where quoted this verse as an evidence, but only the commentator has done so. In 'Nandi' at available at present this verse is not seen as mentioned as belonging to the 'bhasya' and not the next Nandi) None else but the commentator of 'Nayacakra' named as Acarya Simhasur Gani Ksamas vamane, is the first to say that this verse belongs to the 'bhasya on 'Nandi,' So it may be that the date of the composition of the 'bhasya' on the 'bhasya on ‘Nandi' may be posterior to that of Mallavadin Suri, and anterior to the date of the commentator of 'Nayacakra.' Only this much can be definitely said at present.
On p. 153 the 'Mitakara prefixing it with " 376 fe :- B ETTETER 23: "
The exception resembling this is seen as only " 3574tigarra" in Gautamasutra. We come across a collection of corrplats emboding the se exceptions but they are extra by anothers who
