त्वं नाथ ! दुःखिजनवत्सल ! हे शरण्य ! कारुण्यपुण्यवसते ! वशिनां वरेण्य ! भक्त्या नते मयि महेश ! दयां विधाय,
दुःखांकुरोद्दलन - तत्परतां विधेहि।।३६।। हे नाथ ! आप दुःखी जीवों के प्रति वत्सल हैं, शरणागतों के प्रतिपालक हैं, करुणा के निधान हैं और जितेन्द्रिय पुरुषों में श्रेष्ठ हैं। हे महेश ! भक्ति से नम्रीभूत मुझ पर दया करके मेरे दुःखरूप अंकुरों का नाश करने में आप तत्पर होवें।
હે નાથ ! આપ દુ:ખી જીવો પ્રત્યે વત્સલ છો, શરણાગતોના પ્રતિપાલક છો, કરૂણાના નિશાન છો અને જિતેન્દ્રિય પુરુષોમાં શ્રેષ્ઠ છો. હે મહેશ ! ભક્તિથી નમ્રીભૂત મારા પર દયા કરીને મારા દુ:ખરૂપ અંકુરોનો નાશ કરવા આપ તત્પર થાવ.
O Lord ! You are the benefactor of the suffering. You are the support of those who take refuge at your feet. You are the ocean of compassion. You are the supreme among vanquishers of the five senses. O Embodiment of beatitude! Please at once show mercy on me, who bows with devotion, and proceed to liberate me by destroying the sprouting miseries.

दुःखी जीवों पर वत्सलता रखने वाले प्रभु की भक्ति करता भक्त अपने जीवन में उत्पन्न होने वाले दुःख रुपी बीजांकुरों को नष्ट करने की प्रार्थना पार्श्वनाथ से कर रहा है।
