ગુરુ આવા જગતમાં નહિ જડે રે ગૌરવવંતા ગુરુદેવ પૂજ્ય આચાર્યદેવ શ્રીમદ્ વિજય

જૈન શાસન શિરતાજ, દીક્ષાયુગ પ્રવર્તક, તપાગચ્છાધિરાજ, ભાવાચાર્ય ભગવંત શ્રીમદ્ વિજય રામચંદ્રસૂરીશ્વરજી મહારાજાના તેઓશ્રીજી પરમવિનયી શિષ્યરત્ન હતા. વર્ધમાન તપોનિધિ એઓનું મુખ્ય બિરૂદ હતું, પરંતુ વર્ધમાન બિરદાવલીથી નવાજીએ તો પણ અલ્પોકિત થાય એવા વર્ધમાન ગુણગણોથી ભરપૂર એઓનું જીવન હતું, તે પૂજ્યપાદ આચાર્યદેવ શ્રીમદ્ વિજય ગુણયશસૂરીશ્વરજી મહારાજા હતા.
ગુજરાતના વાયવ્ય ખૂણે થરાદની પાસે આવેલું ભોરોલ તીર્થ એમનું વતન હતું. વાવ, થરાદ, સાંચોર જેવી ઐતિહાસિક નગરીઓથી ઘેરાયેલું આ તીર્થ એક જમાનામાં પિપ્પલપુર પત્તન અગર પિપ્પલાનક નામે મહાનગર હતું. પાસેનું ઢીમા તીર્થ એનું ઉપનગર હતું. સેંકડો કોટિપતિ શ્રેષ્ઠિઓ અત્રે વસતા. અનેક જિનમંદિરોથી નગરી ભરી ભરી હતી. કાળની થપાટ વાગતાં બધું વેર-વિખેર થયું. અનેક પ્રતિમાજી ભૂમિમાં બિરાજી દેવગણથી પૂજાતા રહ્યા.
વિ.સં. ૧૯૬૧માં ભોરોલ ભૂમિના ભાગ્યવિધાતા ભગવાન શ્રી નેમિનાથ પ્રભુ સ્વયંભૂ પ્રગટતાં ભૂમિનાં ભાગ્ય પલટાયાં. ક્રમસર ઉન્નતિ થવા લાગી. સંઘે સુંદર જિનાલય બનાવી પ્રભુને પધરાવતાં ભાવોની વૃદ્ધિ થતાં ઘર-ઘરમાં પ્રશસ્ત દ્રવ્યની પણ વૃદ્ધિ થવા લાગી.
વિ.સં. ૧૯૮૦માં પાલીતાણાના શ્રી આદીશ્વરદાદાની પ્રતિષ્ઠાના શુભ દિને એટલે જ વૈ.વ. ૬ના સેજીબાઈની કૂખથી નાનકડા બાળકનો જન્મ થયો. પિતા સ્વરૂપચંદને વધામણા મળતાં આનંદ થયો. બાળકને નવકાર સંભળાવાયો. દાદા શ્રી નેમનાથના દર્શન-પૂજન કરાવાયાં. બે એક વર્ષ પિતાનું વાત્સલ્ય મેળવ્યા બાદ પિતા જ્યારે દેવલોકની વાટે સંચરી ગયા ત્યારે બાળક ગગલદાસ તે ઘટનાને સમજી પણ શકતું ન હતું. કાકા ગમાનચંદે જાળવી મોટા કર્યા. ધર્મના સંસ્કાર આપ્યા. એ કાકા ચોમાસી પ્રતિક્રમણ કરીને આવ્યા બાદ કાળોતરા સર્પે ડંખ મારતાં નમસ્કાર મહામંત્રના સ્મરણપૂર્વક સ્વર્ગવાસી બન્યા હતા.
