GENERAL EDITOR'S NOTE
In my foreword to the First Part of the Paumacariu (S.J.S. No. 34), I stated that the Second part also of that work, containing the next two Kāņdas, viz., the Ayodhyā, and the Sundara, was likely to be ready in time to be published along with the First Part. With the publication of this Volume, I am now glad that the hope expressed there has been fulfilled.
These two parts of the Paumacariu cover up together a little more than three fifths of of the whole text. The remaining portion, comprising the Yuddha-Kānda and the concluding Uttara-Kāņda, contains thirtythree Sandhis in all. That will make up the third and last part of the Paunacamu. Its printing too has been begun and I am trying to bring it out as early as possible.
