Kapasatthiminja (Duga shining like lead, which originates in the kernel of cotton seed), tinduk, tripushaminjak, sataavari, gulmi and louse, all these are three-sensed mobile beings. (138)
इन्दगोवगमाईया, णेगहा एवमायओ।
लोएगदेसे ते सव्वे, न सव्वत्थ वियाहिया॥१३९॥ इन्दगोवय-इन्द्रगोयक (वीरबहूटी) इत्यादि त्रीन्द्रिय जीवों के अनेक प्रकार कहे गये हैं। ये सभी लोक के एक देश (अंश या भाग) में ही हैं, समस्त लोक में नहीं हैं। १३९॥
Thus there are several types of three-sensed mobile beings including Cochineal and it is said that they exist only in a section of the universe (Lok) and not in the whole. (139)
संतई पप्पऽणाईया, अपज्जवसिया वि य।
ठिइं पडुच्च साईया, सपज्जवसिया वि य॥१४०॥ संतति-प्रवाह की अपेक्षा से ये त्रीन्द्रिय जीव अनादि-अनन्त हैं और स्थिति की अपेक्षा से सादि-सान्त भी हैं॥ १४० ॥
In context of continuity these (three-sensed mobile beings) are beginningless and endless. However in context of existence at a particular place they have a beginning as well as end. (140)
एगूणपण्णऽहोरत्ता, उक्कोसेण वियाहिया।
तेइन्दियआउठिई, अन्तोमुहुत्तं जहन्निया॥१४१॥ त्रीन्द्रिय जीवों की उत्कृष्ट आयुस्थिति उनचास (४९) दिन-रात्रि की और जघन्य आयुस्थिति अन्तर्मुहूर्त की बताई गई है। १४१ ॥
The maximum life-span of three-sensed beings is forty-nine days and nights and minimum is of one Antarmuhurt (less than forty-eight minutes). (141)
संखिज्जकालमुक्कोसं, अन्तोमुहुत्तं जहन्नयं।
तेइन्दियकायठिई, तं कायं तु अमुंचओ॥१४२॥ उस त्रीन्द्रिय की (काय को न छोड़कर बार-बार उसी काय में जन्म-मरण करने का काल) कायस्थिति उत्कृष्टत: असंख्यात काल की है और जघन्य आयुस्थिति अन्तर्मुहूर्त की बताई गई है॥१४२॥
If three-sensed beings continue to die and get reborn in the same state without leaving their body-type, then the maximum life-span for the body-type is uncountable time and minimum is of one Antarmuhurt. (142)
अणन्तकालमुक्कोस, अन्तोमुहत्तं जहन्नयं।
तेइन्दियजीवाणं, अन्तरेयं वियाहियं ॥१४३॥ उन त्रीन्द्रिय जीवों का अन्तर (त्रीन्द्रिय काय को छोड़कर अन्य कायों में परिभ्रमण करके पुनः त्रीन्द्रिय काय में जन्म ग्रहण करना-इस मध्य में अन्य योनियों में व्यतीत हुआ काल) ॥ १४३ ॥
