सचित्र उत्तराध्ययन सूत्र
short vowels (a, i, u, ri and Iri) and at once destroys the remaining fractions of all the four karmas—vedaniya, aayu, naam and gotra, still clinging to his soul.

सूत्र ७४ - ओ ओरालियकम्माइं च सव्वाहिं विप्पजहणाहिं विप्पजहित्ता उज्जुसेढिपत्ते, अफुसमाणगई, उड्डुं एगसमएणं अविग्गहेणं तत्थ गन्ता, सागारोवउत्ते सिज्झइ, बुज्झइ, मुच्चइ, परिनिव्वाएइ, सव्वदुक्खाणमन्तं करेइ ॥
एस खलु सम्मत्तपरक्कमस्स अज्झयणस्स अट्ठे समणेणं भगवया महावीरेणं आघविए, पन्नविए, परूविए, दंसिए, उवदंसिए ॥

सूत्र ७४ – तब (तओ) वह औदारिक (तैजस् शरीर भी) और कार्मण को सर्व प्रकार से सदा के लिए सर्वथा छोड़कर ऋजुश्रेणी को प्राप्त हुआ अस्पृशद् रूप, ऊर्ध्व, अविग्रह (बिना मोड़ वाली ) गति (गमन क्रिया-वेग) से एक समय में लोकाग्र में जाकर साकारोपयोग (ज्ञानोपयोग अथवा अपने शरीर की अवगाहना के २/३ - दो-तिहाई परिमाण आकाश-प्रदेशों में) ज्ञानोपयोग से सिद्ध होता है, बुद्ध होता है, मुक्त होता है, परिनिर्वाण को प्राप्त होता है और सभी दुःखों का अन्त करता है।
यह निश्चय रूप से सम्यक्त्व पराक्रम अध्ययन का अर्थ श्रमण भगवान महावीर ने आख्यायितप्रतिपादित किया है, प्रज्ञापित किया है, प्ररूपित किया है, दिखलाया है, दृष्टान्त के द्वारा वर्णित किया है, उपदेश दिया है।
- ऐसा मैं कहता हूँ ।
Maxim 74. Then having abandoned the gross and kaarman bodies in all respects, that soul, untouched by anything, stretches itself into a straight line and takes its upward course without any turn and with great speed reaches the edge of the universe and taking its pristine form (two-third of the space sections occupied by its physical body) becomes perfect (Siddha ), enlightened (Buddha ), liberated (mukta), gains nirvana and ends all miseries.
This, indeed, is the meaning of the chapter titled Fortitude in Righteousness, which Shraman Bhagavan Mahavir has delivered, declared, proved, demonstrated and demonstrated well. -So I say.
