कि बलीन्द्र की राजधानी बलिचंचा है। इनके परिवार का वर्णन तृतीय शतक के प्रथम उद्देशक (श. ३, उ. १) के अनुसार है। शेष सब वर्णन पूर्ववत् समझना चाहिए; यावत्-वह (सुधर्मा सभा में) मैथुन - निमित्तक भोग भोगने में समर्थ नहीं है ।
9. [Q.] Bhante ! How many chief consorts does Balindra, the king of Vairochan gods have?
[Ans.] (Noble ones!) He ( Balindra) has five chief consorts— (1) Shumbha, ( 2 ) Nishumbha, ( 3 ) Rambha, ( 4 ) Nirambha and (5) Madana. Each one of them has a family of eight thousand goddesses. All the remaining details are same as those of the group of goddesses of Chamarendra. The difference being that the capital city of Balindra is Balichancha. The description of the family is as mentioned in the first lesson of the third chapter. Other details are as mentioned earlier... and so on up to ... But they are unable to indulge in any carnal pleasures.
१०. [प्र.] बलिस्स णं भंते! वइरोयणिंदस्स वइरोयणरण्णो सोमस्स महारण्णो कइ अग्गमहिसीओ पन्नत्ताओ ?
[उ.] अज्जो ! चत्तारि अग्गमहिसीओ पन्नत्ताओ, जहा - मीणगा १, सुभद्दा २, विजया ३, असणी ४ । तत्थ णं एगमेगाए देवीए० सेसं जहा चमरसोमस्स, एवं जाव वेसमणस्स

१०. [प्र.] भगवन् ! वैरोचनेन्द्र वैरोचनराज बलि के लोकपाल सोम महाराज की कितनी अग्रमहिषियाँ हैं ?
[उ.] आर्यो! चार अग्रमहिषियाँ हैं - ( १ ) मेनका, (२) सुभद्रा, (३) विजया और
(४) अशनी । इनकी एक-एक देवी का परिवार आदि समग्र चमरेन्द्र के लोकपाल सोम के समान जानना चाहिए । इसी प्रकार यावत् वैरोचनेन्द्र बलि के लोकपाल वैश्रमण तक सारा वर्णन पूर्ववत् जानना चाहिए ।
10. [Q.] Bhante ! How many chief consorts does Soma, the realm - guardian (lokapaal) of Balindra, the king of Vairochan gods have?
[Ans.] (Noble ones !) He has four chief consorts – (1) Menaka, (2) Subhadra, (3) Vijaya and (4) Ashani. All details about the families of each goddess should be mentioned like those about Soma, the realmguardian (lokapaal) of Chamarendra. In the same way repeat as mentioned earlier all description about other realm guardians of Balindra, the king of Vairochan gods up to Vaishraman.
