माणवक चैत्य-स्तंभ के मध्य में साढ़े चार योजन का सुवर्ण-रजत-रत्न जडित पाटिया (पट्टिका) हैं। ॐ उस पट्टी पर वज्र-रत्न के हाथी दाँत के आकार की खूटिया (नागदत्त) बनी हैं। उस पर चाँदी के 卐 सीके लटक रहे हैं। उनमें वज्रमय डिब्बे रखे हुए हैं। उन डिब्बों में अनेक तीर्थंकरों की अस्थियाँ है
आदि सुरक्षित रखी रहती हैं। वह सभी देवों के लिए व देवियों के लिए पूजनीय होती हैं, जिन्हें ॐ मंगलदायी माना जाता है।
Elaboration-Manavak chaitya-stambh (sacred pillar called Manavak)-The detailed description of this pillar is available in many texts. Its brief description is—There is a huge platform at the center of
the Sudharma assembly hall. In dimension it is sixteen Yojan square $ with a height of eight Yojan. On this platform this pillar called Manavak
is built. It is sixty Yojan in height, with one Yojan deep foundation 5 and one Yojan each in length and width. At the center of this pillar there is a projected platform of four and a half Yojan studded with gold
ilver and gems. On this projection there are tusk-shaped pegs made of 4. diamonds. On these pegs are suspended silver baskets containing
diamond boxes. These boxes contain skeletal remains of many 5 Tirthankars. These remains are objects of worship for all gods and

६. [प्र.] चमरस्स णं भंते ! असुरिंदस्स असुरकुमारण्णो सोमस्स महारण्णो कइ ॐ अग्गमहिसीओ पन्नत्ताओ? [ [उ.] अज्जो ! चत्तारि अग्गमहिसीओ पन्नत्ताओ, तं जहा-कणगा १, कणगलया २,
म चित्तगुत्ता ३, वसुंधरा ४। तत्थ णं एगमेगाए देवीए एगमेगं देवीसहस्सं परिवारो पन्नत्तो। अपभू णं ताओ एगमेगाए देवीए अन्नं एगमेगं देविसहस्सं परिवार विउव्वित्तए। एवामेव का सपुव्वावरेणं चत्तारि देवीसहस्सा, से तं तुडिए।
६. [प्र.] भगवन्! असुरेन्द्र असुरकुमारराज चमर के लोकपाल सोम महाराज की ॐ कितनी अग्रमहिषियाँ हैं? म [उ.] आर्यों ! उनके चार अग्रमहिषियाँ हैं। यथा-(१) कनका, (२) कनकलता, (३) चित्रगुप्त म और (४) वसुन्धरा। इनमें से प्रत्येक देवी का एक-एक हजार देवियों का परिवार है। इनमें से
प्रत्येक देवी, एक-एक हजार देवियों के परिवार की विकुर्वणा कर सकती है। इस प्रकार पूर्वा-पर के म सब मिलकर चार हजार देवियाँ होती है। यह एक त्रुटिक (देवी-वर्ग) कहलाता है।
