८- १. [प्र.] महिड्डी णं भंते ! देवे अप्पड्ढियस्य देवस्स मज्झमज्झेणं वीइवएज्जा ? [ उ. ] हंता, वीइवएज्जा ।
८-१. [प्र.] भगवन्! क्या महर्द्धिक देव, अल्प - ऋद्धिक देव के बीचोंबीच होकर जा सकता है ?
[उ.] हाँ, गौतम ! जा सकता है।
8-1. [Q.] Bhante ! Can a god with greater power pass through a god with lesser power?
[Ans.] Yes, Gautam ! He can pass through.
८-२. [ प्र. ] से भंते! किं विमोहित्ता पभू, अविमोहित्ता पभू ?
[उ.] गोयमा ! विमोहित्ता वि पभू, अविमोहित्ता वि पभू ।
८-२. [प्र.] भगवन् ! वह महर्द्धिक देव, उस अल्प - ऋद्धिकं देव को विमोहित करके जाता है, अथवा विमोहित किये बिना जाता है ?
[उ.] गौतम ! वह विमोहित करके भी जा सकता है और विमोहित किये बिना भी जा सकता है।
8-2. [Q.] Bhante ! Can that god pass through the other god by entrancing him or without entrancing him?
[Ans.] Gautam ! He can pass through by entrancing him as well as without entrancing him.
८- ३. [ प्र.] से भंते! किं पुव्विं विमोहित्ता पच्छा वीइवएज्जा ? पुव्विं वीइवइत्ता पच्छा विमोहेज्जा ?
[उ.] गोयमा ! पुव्विं वा विमोहित्ता पच्छा वीइवएज्जा, पुव्विं वा वीइवइत्ता पच्छा विमोहेज्जा |
८-३. [प्र.] भगवन्! वह महर्द्धिक देव, उसे पहले विमोहित करके बाद में जाता है, अथवा पहले जाकर बाद में विमोहित करता है ?
[उ.] गौतम ! वह महर्द्धिक देव, पहले उसे विमोहित करके बाद में भी जा सकता और पहले जाकर बाद में भी विमोहित कर सकता है ?
83. [Q.] Bhante ! Does that god first entrance the other god and then pass through or does he first pass through and then entrance ? [Ans.] Gautam! That god can first entrance the other god and then pass through, and he can also first pass through and then entrance.
