Ananataraavagaadh, Anantaraahaarak and Anantaraparyaaptak jivas (see 3/1/8 for meaning of these terms) are said to be a minimum of one, two and three and a maximum of countable in number. All others are said to be innumerable.
२०. आरणऽच्चुएसु एवं चेव जहा आणय-पाणएसु नाणत्तं विमाणेसु।
[२०] जिस प्रकार आनत और प्राणत के विषय में कहा गया है, उसी प्रकार आरण और अच्युत देवलोक के विषय में भी कहना चाहिए। इनमें विमानों की संख्या में अन्तर (विभिन्नता)

[२१] इसी प्रकार नौ ग्रैवेयक देवलोकों (के विषय में भी कहना चाहिए।) 21. The same is also true for nine Gaiveyak vimaans. २२. [प्र.] कइ णं भंते ! अणुत्तरविमाणा पन्नत्ता? [उ.] गोयमा ! पंच अणुत्तरविमाणा पन्नत्ता। २२. [प्र.] भगवन् ! अनुत्तर कितने कहे गए हैं? [उ.] गौतम ! अनुत्तर विमान पाँच कहे गए हैं।
22. [Q.] Bhante ! How many Anuttar vimaans (celestial vehicles) are said to be there?
[Ans.] Gautam ! There are said to be five Anuttar vimaans (celestial vehicles)
२३. [प्र.] ते णं भंते ! किं संखेज्जवित्थडा, असंखेज्जवित्थडा ? [उ.] गोयमा ! संखेज्जवित्थडे य असंखेज्जवित्थडा य।
२३. [प्र.] भगवन्! क्या वे (अनुत्तर विमान) संख्यात योजन विस्तार वाले हैं अथवा असंख्यात योजन विस्तार वाले हैं?
