२२. एवं असंखेज्जवित्थडेसु वि तिण्णि गमगा भाणियव्वा।।
२२. इसी प्रकार असंख्यात योजन विस्तार वाले नरकावासों के विषय में भी तीनों आलापक है ॐ (गमक) कहने चाहिए।
22. In the same way repeat three statements about infernal abodes 卐 with innumerable Yojan area.
२३. एवं सक्करप्पभाए वि। एवं जाव तमाए वि।
२३. इसी प्रकार शर्कराप्रभा से लेकर यावत् तमःप्रभापृथ्वी तक के (संख्यात, असंख्यात ॐ योजन-विस्तृत नरकावासों के सम्यग्दृष्टि आदि नैरयिकों के विषय में तीनों आलापक कहने चाहिए।)
23. Same is true for Sharkaraprabha Prithvi... and so on up to... Tamahprabha Prithvi. (Repeat the three aforesaid statements for all infernal abodes with countable as well as innumerable Yojan areas.)
२४. [प्र.] अहेसत्तमाए णं भंते ! पुढवीए पंचसु अणुत्तरेसु जाव संखेज्जवित्थडे नरए ॥ है किं सम्मदिट्ठी नेरइया. पुच्छा।
___[उ.] गोयमा ! सम्मट्ठिी नेरइया न उववज्जंति, मिच्छट्ठिी नेरइया उववज्जंति, म सम्मामिच्छट्ठिी नेरइया न उववज्जंति।
२४. [प्र.] भगवन् ! अध:सप्तम पृथ्वी के पाँच अनुत्तर यावत् संख्यात योजन विस्तार वाले नरकावासों में क्या सम्यग्दृष्टि नैरयिक, उत्पन्न होते हैं? इत्यादि प्रश्न।
[उ.] गौतम! (वहाँ) सम्यग्दृष्टि नैरयिक उत्पन्न नहीं होते (परन्तु) मिथ्यादृष्टि नैरयिक ॐ उत्पन्न होते हैं और सम्यग्-मिथ्यादृष्टि नैरयिक भी उत्पन्न नहीं होते हैं।
24. [Q.] Bhante !Out of the five unique and gigantic infernal abodes, in Adhah-saptam Prithvi (seventh hell), in those having countable Yojan 41 area, are righteous (samyagdrishtı) infernal beings (jįvas) born ? And other questions.
[Ans.] Gautam ! Righteous (samyagdrishti) infernal beings (jivas) are not born, but unrighteous (mithyadrishtı) infernal beings are born and mixed 1 ones, righteous-unrighteous (samyagmithyadrishti) infernal beings, are also 1 not born.
