५३. [प्र.] भगवन् ! औदारिक पुद्गल-परिवर्तन-निवर्त्तना काल, वैक्रिय पुद्गल-परिवर्तननिर्वर्तनाकाल यावत् आन-प्राण-पुद्गल-परिवर्तन निर्वर्तनाकाल, इन (सातों) में से कौन-सा है (निष्पत्ति-) काल, किस काल से अल्प (कम) यावत् विशेषाधिक है?
[उ.] गौतम! सबसे थोड़ा निवर्त्तना (निष्पत्ति) काल कार्मण-पुद्गल-परिवर्तन का है। उससे तैजस पुद्गल-परिवर्तन का निवर्त्तनाकाल अनन्तगुणा (अधिक) है। उससे में औदारिक-पुद्गल-परिवर्तन का निर्वर्तना-काल अनन्तगुणा है, उससे आन-प्राण-पुद्गल-परिवर्तन 5
का निवर्त्तनाकाल अनन्तगुणा है। उससे मन:पुद्गल-परिवर्तन-निर्वर्तनाकाल अनन्तगुणा है और उससे मन:पुद्गल-परिवर्तन का निवर्त्तना काल अनन्तगुणा है, उससे वचन-पुद्गल-परिवर्तन का निर्वर्तनाकाल अनन्तगुणा है और (इन सबसे) वैक्रिय पुद्गल-परिवर्तन का निर्वर्तनाकाल अनन्तगुणा

[Q.] Bhante !Of the periods of completion of the said seven types of particulate transformations--gross physical particulate transformation, transmutable particulate transformation... and so on up to... breath particulate transformation, which period is less than which... and so on to... which is much more ?
[Ans.) The minimum period of completion is of Karmic particulate 5 transformation; infinite times more than that is the period of completion of $ Fiery particulate transformation; infinite times more than that is the period 5
of completion of gross physical particulate transformation; infinite times more than that is the period of completion of Breath particulate transformation; infinite times more than that is the period of completion of
Thought particulate transformation; infinite times more than that is the 4 period of completion of Speech particulate transformation; infinite times
more than that is the period of completion of Transmutable particulate transformation, which is maximum.
