[Ans.] Gautam ! It (gross physical material or particulate transformations) takes infinite progressive and regressive cycles of time (Utsarpini & Avasarpini) to reach completion.
५१. एवं वेउव्वियपोग्गलपरियट्टे वि। [५१] इसी प्रकार (पूर्ववत्) वैक्रिय-पुद्गल-परिवर्तन का निष्पत्तिकाल जानना चाहिए।
51. The same is true for Vaikriya pudgal parivartya (transmutable __material transformations).
५२. एवं जाव आणापाणुपोग्गलपरियट्टे वि।
[५२] इसी तरह (औदारिक पुद्गल परिवर्तन-निष्पत्तिकाल के समान ही शेष पाँच ॥ पुद्गल-परिवर्तन) यावत् आन-प्राण-पुद्गल परिवर्तन (का निष्पत्तिकाल जानना चाहिए।)।
52. The same is also true for other five material transformations ... and so on up to ... Aan-praan pudgal parivartya (breath material transformations).
विवेचन-औदारिक आदि सातों पुद्गल-परिवर्तनों में से प्रत्येक पुद्गल-परिवर्तन अनन्त उत्सर्पिणी-अवसर्पिणी काल में निष्पन्न होता है, उसका कारण यह है कि पुद्गल अनन्त है और उनका + ग्राहक एक ही जीव होता है तथा किसी भी पुद्गल-परिवर्तन में पूर्वगृहीत पुद्गलों की गणना नहीं की जाती।
Elaboration—Each of the aforesaid particulate transformations takes infinite.cycles of time to come to completion.
