हस्तिनापुर नगर के मध्य में होकर जहाँ उन स्वप्नलक्षण- पाठकों के घर पहुँचे और उन्हें राजा की आज्ञा सुनाई। इस प्रकार स्वप्नलक्षण- पाठकों को उन्होंने बलाया ।
29. The attendants happily and humbly accepted the king's order. Taking leave of the king they crossed the streets of Hastinapur city, came to the area where the scholars of augury and allied subjects and extended the king's invitation to them for attending the assembly Thus they called dream diviners.

३०. तए णं ते सुविणलक्खणपाढगा वलस्स रण्णो को डुबियपुरिसेहिं सदाविया समा हट्ठतुट्ठ. ण्हाया कय. जाव सरीरा सिद्धत्थग-हरियालियकयमंगलमुद्धाणा सएहिं सहिं निग्गच्छंति, स. नि. २ हत्थिणाउरं नयरं मज्झमज्झेणं जेणेव बलस्स रण्णो भवणवरवडेंसए तेणेव उवागच्छंति, तेणेव उ. २ भवणवरवडेंसगपडिदुवारंसि एगओ मिलंति, ए. मि. २ जेणेव बाहिरिया उट्ठाणसाला, जेणेव बले राया तेणेव उवागच्छंति, ते. उ. २ करयल. बलं रायं जएणं विजएणं वद्धावेंति । तए णं ते सुविणलक्खणपाढगा बलेणं रण्णा वंदियपूइयसक्कारियसम्माणिया समाणा पत्तेयं पत्तेयं पुव्वन्नत्थेसु भद्दासणेसु निसीयंति ।
[३०] वे स्वप्नलक्षण-पाठक भी बल राजा के कौटुम्बिक पुरुषों द्वारा बुलाए जाने पर अत्यन्त हर्षित एवं सन्तुष्ट हुए । उन्होंने स्नानादि करके शरीर को अलकत किया। फिर वे अपने मस्तक पर सरसों और हरी दूब से मंगल करके अपने-अपने घर से निकलकर हस्तिनापुर नगर के मध्य में होकर जहाँ बल राजा का उत्तम शिखर रूप राज्य प्रासाद था, वहाँ आए। उस उत्तम राजभवन के द्वार पर वे स्वप्नपाठक एकत्रित होकर मिले और जहाँ राजा को बाहरी उपस्थानशाला थी, सभी मिलकर वहाँ आए । बलराजा के पास आकर, उन्होंने हाथ जोड़कर 'बल राजा की जय
हो, विजय हो' आदि शब्दों से उन्हें बधाया । बल राजा द्वारा बन्दित, पूजित, सत्कारित एवं सम्मानित गए वे स्वप्नलक्षण-पाठक प्रत्येक के लिए पहले से रखे हुए उन भद्रासनों पर बैठे।

30. The scholars felt pleased and honoured getting the invitation from royal attendants. After taking there bath... and so on up to... They embellished themselves and as an auspicious ritual they put mustard and grass on their heads and came out of their houses. Passing through Hastinapur city they approached the gate of the great palace of King Bal. After assembling at the gate they entered the hall in a group and went near the king. Joining their palms they greeted the king, wishing him success and victory, and blessed him. After being saluted, worshiped, honoured and greeted by the king, the dream diviners took the seats offered to them.
