निग्गच्छइ, नि. २ जेणेव सहसंबवणे उज्जाणे जेणेव समणे भगवं महावीरे तेणेव उवागच्छइ, ॐ उवा. २ समणं भगवं महावीरं तिक्खुत्तो आयाहिणपयाहिणं करेइ, क. २ वंदइ नमसइ, वं.5 २ नच्चासन्ने नाइदूरे जाव पंजलिउडे पज्जुवासइ।
[३०] तत्पश्चात् शिवराजर्षि को इस प्रकार का विचार यावत् उत्पन्न हुआ कि श्रमण भगवान महावीर स्वामी, धर्म की आदि करने वाले, तीर्थंकर यावत् सर्वज्ञ-सर्वदर्शी हैं, जिनके आगे'
आकाश में धर्मचक्र चलता है, यावत् वे यहाँ सहस्राम्रवन उद्यान में यथायोग्य अवग्रह ग्रहण करके । ॐ यावत् विचरते हैं। तथारूप अरिहन्त भगवन्तों का नाम-गोत्र सुनना भी महाफलदायक है, तो फिर ॥ र उनके सम्मुख जाना, वन्दन करना, इत्यादि का तो कहना ही क्या? इत्यादि औपपातिक सूत्र के म उल्लेखानुसार विचार किया; यावत् एक भी आर्य धार्मिक सुवचन का सुनना भी महाफल-दायक ॥
है, तो फिर विपुल अर्थ के ग्रहण करने का तो कहना ही क्या! अत: मैं श्रमण भगवान महावीर ॐ स्वामी के पास जाऊँ, वन्दन-नमस्कार यावत् पर्युपासना करूँ। यह मेरे लिए इस भव में और ॥ परभव में, यावत् श्रेयस्कर होगा।
इस प्रकार का विचार करके वे तापसों के मठ में आये और उसमें प्रवेश किया। फिर वहाँ से लोढ़ी, लोह-कड़ाह यावत् छबड़ी सहित कावड़ आदि उपकरण लिए और उस तापस मठ से ॥ म निकले। वहाँ से विभंगज्ञान-रहित वे शिवराजर्षि हस्तिनापुर नगर के मध्य में से होते हुए, 4 सहस्राम्रवन उद्यान में श्रमण भगवान महावीर के निकट पहँचे। श्रमण भगवान महावीर के निकट + में आकर उन्होंने तीन बार आदक्षिण प्रदक्षिणा की, उन्हें वन्दना-नमस्कार किया और न अतिदूर, न है ॐ अतिनिकट यावत् हाथ जोड़कर भगवान की उपासना करने लगे।
30. After that, it dawned on Saint-king Shiva that Shraman Bhagavan Mahavir was Tirthankar, the initiator of religion,... and so on up to... all-perceiving omniscient. The wheel of religion (Dharmachakra) moves ahead of him... and so on up to... He is staying here in the Sahasramravan garden with due resolve. When simply hearing the name of Arihant Bhagavants is highly beneficent, what to say of the opportunity to go in his presence, pay homage to him etc.? He had this train of thoughts as mentioned in Aupapatik Sutra... and so on up to... When just a single pious word of the noble religion bestows great boons, what if to say of the opportunity of absorbing volumes of meaning from the us discourse? Therefore, I must go to Shraman Bhagavan Mahavir and greet him, pay homage... and so on up to... worship him. This would benefit this life and the next.
With these thoughts he came to the hermitage and entered it. From there he collected his grinding stone, iron cooking pans... and so on up
