[-दशम द्वार] 15. (Q.) Bhante ! Are those souls in Utpal endowed with right $i perspective (samyag drishti), wrong or false perspective (mithya drishti) or right-wrong perspective (samyag-mithya drishti) ? [Ans.] Gautam ! They all are endowed neither with right perspective

१६. [प्र.] ते णं भंते ! जीवा किं नाणी, अन्नाणी? [उ.] गोयमा ! नो नाणी, अन्नाणी वा अन्नाणिणो वा। [दारं ११]। १६. [प्र.] भगवन् ! वे उत्पल के जीव ज्ञानी हैं या अज्ञानी हैं? [उ.] गौतम! वे ज्ञानी नहीं हैं, परन्तु वे एक या अनेक हों वे सभी जीव अज्ञानी हैं।
[-ग्यारहवाँ द्वार] 16. [Q.] Bhante ! Are those souls endowed with knowledge or are 卐 they devoid of knowledge ?
__[Ans.] Gautam ! They are not endowed with knowledge but are 41 devoid of knowledge irrespective of being one or many.
[-the eleventh theme] १७. [प्र.] ते णं भंते! जीवा किं मणजोगी, वययोगी, कायजोगी? [उ.] गोयमा! नो मणजोगी, नो वयजोगी, कायजोगी वा कायजोगिणो वा।
[दारं १२] १७. [प्र.] भगवन् ! वे जीव मनयोगी, वचनयोगी या काययोगी हैं?
[उ.] गौतम! वे मनयोगी नहीं, वचनयोगी भी नहीं, परन्तु वे एक हो या अनेक हों, सभी काययोगी हैं।
[-बारहवाँ द्वार] 17. (Q.) Bhante ! Do those souls in Utpal have capacity of mental ॐ association (mano-yoga), vocal association (vachan-yoga) or physical association (kaaya-yoga)?
[Ans.] Gautam ! They do not have capacity of mental association or vocal association but only of physical association irrespective of being one or many.
