निर्गन्थ प्रवचन सूत्र णमो चउवीसाए तित्थयराणं। उसभाइ महावीर पज्जवसाणाणं।
इणमेव णिग्गंथं पावयणं-सच्चं, अणुत्तरं, केवलियं, पडिपुण्णं, णेयाउयं, संसुद्ध, सल्लगत्तणं, सिद्धिमग्गं, मुत्तिमग्गं, णिज्जाणमग्गं, णिव्वाणमग्गं, अवितहमविसंधि, सव्वदुक्खप्पहीणमग्गं।
भावार्थ : भगवान् ऋषभदेव से लेकर भगवान् महावीर पर्यंत चौबीसों तीर्थंकर भगवंतों को नमस्कार करता हूं।
यह निर्ग्रन्थ प्रवचन ही सत्य है, अनुत्तर (सर्वोत्तम) है, केवलिक (केवलज्ञानियों द्वारा प्ररूपित) है, परिपूर्ण है, न्याय सम्मत है, सर्वथा शुद्ध है, माया आदि शल्यों को नष्ट करने वाला है, सिद्धि का मार्ग है, कर्म-मुक्ति का मार्ग है, संसार से छुड़ाने वाला है, निर्वाण का मार्ग है, अवितथ (मिथ्यात्व रहित) एवं अविसंधि (विच्छेद रहित सदा शाश्वत) है, तथा समस्त दुखों को नष्ट करने वाला मार्ग है।
Exposition : My obeisance to twenty four tirthankars. I respectfully honour them from Rishabh to Mahavir.
The word of the omniscent is true, unique. It is the speech of one having perfect knowledge. It is complete, it is logical, it is completey pure. It is free from all faults such as deceit and the like. It is the path leading to salvation. It is the path leading to liberation from karma. It frees one from mundane worldly existence. It is the path leading to nirvana. It is free from wrong belief and is permanent. It destroys all troubles.
. इत्थं ठिया जीवा-सिझंति, बुझंति मुच्चंति, परिणिव्वायंति, जाव सव्वदुक्खाणमंतं करेंति। ___ भावार्थ : इस निर्ग्रन्थ प्रवचन में स्थित रहने वाले अर्थात् इस के अनुसार आचरण करने वाले साधक सिद्ध हो जाते हैं, बुद्ध (सर्वज्ञ) हो जाते हैं, मुक्त हो जाते हैं, परिनिर्वाण को प्राप्त हो जाते हैं एवं समस्त प्रकार के दुखों का अन्त कर देते हैं।
Exposition: The living beings conducting themselves according to the dictate mentioned in the word of omniscient ultimately attains salvation. They become omniscient. They are liberated. They attain nirvana. They are free from all troubles of the mundane world.
