कामोद्दीपक शब्दों को सुनना, रूपों को देखना, गन्धों को सूंघना, रसों का स्वाद लेना, कोमल-मुलायम शय्यादि का स्पर्श करना, ९. सातावेदनीय के उदय से मिलने वाले सुखों में रुचि या आसक्त होना।
By which deeds the celibacy is destroyed or broken has been called Agupti (irregulations of mind, body and speech). These Agupti are nine in number i.e. 1. To use the bed or seat that has been occupied by woman, animal or eunuch. 2. To be fond of in the listening of stories regarding women. 3. To splendor appreciator of the qualities of a woman. 4. To see and think over the limbs of the women. 5. To take or consume tasty and delicious food. 6. To eat more in quantity than appetite. 7. To recall the past experiences with woman. 8. Listening the words which arouse the sexual desire and erection, seeing the beauty, to smell the fragrance, to be infatuated by taste, to use the bed made of tender mattress that destroy the celibacy. 9. To be fond of or infatuated by the joys which is the fruit of Sata Vaidniya Karmas (meritorious deed of past lives). ५३-नव बंभेचरा पण्णत्ता, तं जहा
सत्थपरिणा' लोगविजयो' सीओसणिज' सम्मत्त ।
आवति' धुत' विमोहा [यणं] उवहाणसुयं महापरिण्णा ।।१।। ब्रह्मचर्य अध्ययन नौ प्रकार के कहे गए हैं यथा-१. शस्त्र परिज्ञा, २. लोक विजय, ३. शीतोष्णीय, ४. सम्यक्त्व, ५. आवन्ती, ६. धूत, ७. विमोह, ८. उपधान श्रुत, ९. महापरिज्ञा ।
The chapters (Adhyyana) about celibacy are nine i.e. 1. Shastra Prijna.2. Lok Vijay (conquer of world). 3. Shitosniya (cold and warm). 4. Samvyakt (righteousness). 5. Awariti. 6. Dhoot (gamble). 7. Vimoh(illusion). 8.Updhan Shrut. 9. Maha Prijna. ____ ५४-पासे णं अरहा पुरिसादाणीए नव रयणीओ उठें उच्चत्तेणं होत्था।
जनसामान्य में आदरणीय पुरुष अर्थात् पुरुषादानीय भगवान पार्श्वनाथ नौ रत्नि (हाथ) ऊँचे थे।

५५-अभीजीनक्खत्ते साइरेगे नव मुहुत्ते चंदेण सद्धिं जोगं जोएइ। अभीजियाइया नव | नक्खत्ता चंदस्स उत्तरेणं जोगं जोएंति, तं जहा-अभीजीसवणो जाव भरणी।
जो नक्षत्र नौ मुहूर्त से कुछ अधिक तक चन्द्रमा के साथ योग करता है या रहता है, वह अभिजित * नक्षत्र है। अभिजित आदि नौ नक्षत्र चन्द्रमा का उत्तर दिशा की ओर से योग करते हैं। ये नौ नक्षत्र हैं|| १. अभिजित नक्षत्र, २. रेवती नक्षत्र, ३. उत्तरभाद्रपदा नक्षत्र, ४. श्रवण नक्षत्र, ५. धनिष्ठा नक्षत्र, ६. | शतभिषक् नक्षत्र, ७. पूर्वाभाद्रपदा नक्षत्र, ८. अश्विनी नक्षत्र, ९. भरणी नक्षत्र। नौवां समवाय
