आठवें अर्हत् भगवान चन्द्रप्रभ डेढ़ सौ धनुष | गुणों के गण (समूह) के धारक को गणि ऊँचे थे।
(आचार्य ) कहा जाता है। पिटक का अर्थ मंजूषा सूत्र सं. 451
(पेटी) है। गणियों के सर्वस्वरूप श्रुतरत्नों की मंजूषा को गणिपिटक कहा जाता है। गणिपिटक 12 हैं जिनका उल्लेख चित्र में किया गया है।

जीव दो प्रकार के हैं-(1) संसारी जीव एवं | अरूपी और रूपी अजीवराशि का विवरण । (2) मुक्त जीव। संसारी जीवों में चारों गतियों के | इनमें से पुद्गलास्तिकाय रूपी है, शेष धर्म, जीव आते हैं एवं सभी सिद्धि प्राप्त जीव मुक्त | अधर्म आदि अरूपी हैं। जीवों में गिने जाते हैं।

The living beings are of two types : 1. the transmigatory one, 2. The liberated one. The transmigatory beings are consist of all the four "Gatis" and the beings of "Sidhgati" are counted as liberated one.
