Mountain Avahans. ११३ - पासस्स णं अरहतो पुरिसादाणीयस्स सोलस समणसाहस्सीओ उक्कोसिआ समणसंपदा होत्था | आयप्पवायस्स णं पुव्वस सोलस वत्थू पण्णत्ता । चमरबलीणं ओवारियालेणे सोलस जोयणसहस्साइं आयामविक्खंभेणं पण्णत्ते । लवणे णं समुद्दे सोलस जोयणसहस्साइं उस्सेहपरिवुड्डीए पण्णत्ते ।
पुरुषादानीय पार्श्व अर्हत् के सोलह हजार श्रमण कहे गए हैं। भगवान पार्श्व की यह उत्कृष्ट श्रमण सम्पदा की गई है। आत्मप्रवाद - पूर्व के वस्तु नामक जो अर्थाधिकार कहे गए हैं, उनकी संख्या सोलह है। चमरचंचा और बलीचंचा राजधानी का सोलह हजार योजन का आयाम विष्कम्भ कहा गया है। यह स्थिति इन राजधानियों के मध्य भाग में उतार-चढ़ाव रूप अवतारिकालयन वृत्ताकार वाले होने से है । लवण समुद्र के मध्य भाग में जल के उत्सेध की वृद्धि सोलह हजार योजन निरूपित है।

This state happens due to the circular shape of the avatarika in the middle part of these capitals. The height of the tides of the water in the middle part of the Lavan ocean has been said sixteen thousand yojanas.
११४ - इमीसे णं रयणप्पभाए पुढवीए अत्थेगइयाणं नेरइयाणं सोलस पलिओवमाइं ठिई पण्णत्ता। पंचमी पुढवीए अत्थेगइयाणं नेरइयाणं सोलस सागरोवमा ठिई पण्णत्ता । असुरकुमाराणं अत्थेगइ आणं सोलस पलिओवमाइं ठिई पण्णत्ता । सोहम्मीसाणेसु कप्पेसु अत्थेगइयाणं देवाणं सोलस पलिओवमाइं ठिई पण्णत्ता ।
इस रत्नप्रभा पृथ्वी में सोलह पल्योपम वाली स्थिति के नारक कहे गए हैं। धूमप्रभा जो पाँचवीं पृथ्वी है, उसमें नारकियों की स्थिति सोलह सागरोपम कही गई है। असुरकुमार देवों और सौधर्मईशान कल्पों के देवों की स्थिति सोलह-सोलह पल्योपम कही गई है।
The life span of the hellish beings of this Ratanprabha hell has been described sixteen Palyopama duration. In the Dhumprabha which is the fifth hell, the life duration of the hellish beings has been said of sixteen thousand Sagropama. The life span of the malevolent demons and the celestial beings of the Saudharma and Ishan kalpa hasbeen described of sixteen Palyopama each.
