विवेचन-लौटाने योग्य वस्तु के लिए आगम में “पाडिहारिय" शब्द है।
यदि किसी एक कार्य को करने का स्पष्ट निर्देश देकर सूई आदि 'पाडिहारिय' ग्रहण किए हैं तो उन्हें 8 अन्य काम में नहीं लेना चाहिए। ऐसा करने पर दूसरा और तीसरा महाव्रत दूषित होता है।
Comments—The Term "Padihariya” is there in holy scriptures (Agamas) for the returnable objects. Indicating clearly of doing some particular task if the needle etc have been accepted then they should not be used for some other tasks. By doing so the second and third great vows are destroyed.

देने वाले का समर्थन करता है। घटे ३३. जो भिक्षु अपने लिए नखछेदनक माँग कर लाता है और बाद में किसी दूसरे साधु को दे देता है प्रा अथवा देने वाले का समर्थन करता है। ३४. जो भिक्षु अपने लिए कर्णशोधनक माँग कर लाता है और बाद में उसे किसी दूसरे साधु को दे
देता है अथवा देने वाले का समर्थन करता है (उसे गुरुमासिक प्रायश्चित्त करना होता है।) The ascetic who seeks the needle for himself but gives it to someone else later on

supports the ones who does so. 33. The ascetic who brings the nail cutter for himself but gives it to other later on or
supports the ones who does so. The ascetic who seeks the ear bud for himself but gives it to someone else later on or supports the ones who does so, one month duration (Gurumasik) atonement comes to him.
