13. जो भिक्षु विशेष चारित्र गुण सम्पन्न को अल्प चारित्र गुण वाला कहता है अथवा कहने वाले का पूर
समर्थन करता है। 14. जो भिक्षु अल्प चारित्र गुण वाले को विशेष चारित्र गुण सम्पन्न कहता है अथवा कहने वाले का
समर्थन करता है। (उसे लघुचौमासी प्रायश्चित्त आता है।) 13. The ascetic who calls a supreme conduct virtues endowed one, a less conduct
virtuous or supports the ones who tells so. 14. The ascetic who calls a less conduct virtuous one, a supreme conduct virtuous one
or supports the ones who calls so, a laghu-masik expiation comes to him.
विवेचन-संयम की शुद्ध आराधना करने वाले भिक्षु संयम रूपी रत्न के धन के धनवान् होते हैं। अतः उनको इस सूत्र में “वसुरालिक" शब्द से सूचित किया गया है। जो संयममर्यादा का अतिक्रम करके उसकी शुद्धि नहीं करते हैं, वे संयम रूप रत्नी के धन से धनवान नहीं रहते हैं। अतः सूत्र में उनको “अवसुरालिक" शब्द से A सूचित किया गया है।
Comments—The ascetic, a practitioner of pure restraint practice, has been blessed with the restraint conduct. Hence, here in this sutra he has been addressed by the term "Vasuratnik”. The ones who entirely transgressing the limits of restraint does not purify it though self-criticism, they are not proper qualified in the mode of.restraint. Hence, they have been addressed by the term "Avasuratnik”. सांभोगिक व्यवहार के लिए गणसंक्रमण का प्रायश्चित्त THE ATONEMENT OF MOVING OUT FROM THE ASCETIC GROUP FOR "SAMBHOGIK VYAVHAR" 15. जे भिक्खू वुसिराइयगणाओ अवुसिराइयगणं संकमइ, संकमंतं वा साइज्जइ। 15. जो भिक्षु विशेष चारित्र गुण सम्पन्न गण से अल्प चारित्र गुण वाले गण में संक्रमण करता है और
अथवा करने वाले का समर्थन करता है। (उसे लघु चौमासी प्रायश्चित्त आता है।) 15. The ascetic who moves out from the ascetic group endowed with extreme conduct
virtues to the ascetic group of less conduct virtues or supports the ones who moves out so, a laghu-chaumasi expiation comes to him.
विवेचन-गणनायक जैसे चारित्रगुण से सम्पन्न होता है, उसे गण के साधु-साध्वी भी प्रायः वैसे और ही चारित्रगुण से सम्पन्न होते हैं। अतः गणनायक के अनुसार गण भी शुद्धाचार वाला या शिथिलाचार वाला कहा र जाता है।
Comments—The head of the ascetic group has been endowed with virtues of conduct. With such a group the monks and nuns, also, have been endowed with the virtues of similar conduct normally. Hence, the group of ascetics has been said of high conduct or weak in conduct according to the conduct of the head of the ascetic group.
