Comments-Whatever state of his own, exists, as-Woman, man, child, old man,
young, healthy, ill, beautiful, ugly etc. if some one does contrary to it then it is called self contrary activity. In the same way if the same situation occurs with the others and they do contrary, then it is called others contrary activity. By doing so a guru-chaumasi expiation. comes to him.

69. जे भिक्खू मुहवण्णं करेइ, करेंतं वा साइज्जइ ।
69. जो भिक्षु अन्य धर्म की प्रशंसा करता है अथवा करने वाले का समर्थन करता है (उसे गुरुचौमासी प्रायश्चित्त आता है।)
69. The ascetic who praises the non-believer or the foreign faith and supports the ones who praises so, a Guru-Chaumasi expiation comes to him.
विरूद्ध राज्य गमनागमन-प्रायश्चित्त

70. जे भिक्खू वेरज्ज - विरुद्धरज्जंसि सज्जं गमणं, सज्जं आगमणं, सज्जं गमणागमणं करेइ, करेंतं वा साइज्जइ ।
70. दो राजाओं का परस्पर विरोध हो और परस्पर राज्यों में गमनागमन निषिद्ध हो, वहाँ जो भिक्षु बारंबार गमन, आगमन या गमनागमन करता है अथवा करने वाले का समर्थन करता है। (उसे गुरुचौमासी प्रायश्चित्त आता है ।)
70. Two kings are rivals and coming and going to one anothers kingdoms-is banned. If the ascetic goes and comes repeatedly there or supports the ones who comes and goes so a guru-chaumasi expiatioin comes to him.
विवेचन - एक विरोधी राज्य से दूसरे विरोधी राज्य में जाना “गमन" है। जाकर पुनः लौटना "आगमन" है तथा बार-बार जाना-आना " गमनागमन" है अथवा प्रज्ञापक की अपेक्षा "गमन" अन्य स्थान की अपेक्षा " आगमन" है।

दो राज्यों में परस्पर विरोध चल रहा हो, एक राज्य से दूसरे राज्य की सीमा में जाने पर प्रतिबंध हो तो वहाँ भिक्षु को नहीं जाना चाहिए। वहाँ जाना आवश्यक ही हो तो एक बार जाना या आना करे तो सूत्रोक्त प्रायश्चित्त नहीं आता है। किन्तु बारम्बार जाने या आने में अनेक दोषों की संभावना होने से उसका प्रायश्चित्त विधान है।
Comments-To go from one rival kingdom to another rival kingdom is called ("Gamana") going and again coming back is called ("Agamana") coming and, to come and go repeatedly is "Gamaanagamana."
If entry from one state to another state is banned then the ascetic should not go there. If it is essential to go there then there is no atonement in going once but due to the possibilities of many a faults in coming and going repeatedly there is a law of repentance.
