Tattvartha Sutra or Tattvarthadhigama Sutra is a very important manual in Sanskrit on Jain philosophy composed in Sutra style by the well-knowri Jain writer Umasvati. The authoritativeness of the manual is recognised by both the sects, the Svetambaras as well as the Digambaras, although the versions recognised by each of these sects are not without variations in the total number of Sutras as well as in the readings of individual Sutras, Similarly, there seems to be a difference of opinion regarding the authorship of the Bhashya on the Sutras
