Here, in the country of Vijaya, there was a city named Rajapura. As I dwelt there with the appearance of worldly life though in fact disgusted of it, [78] there came Acarya by the name of Amargupta who understood his sins and merits by Avadhi knowledge which he secured in few days and who was the lord of many friars.
