Nyāyamañjari attracted the attention of many ancient scholars very early. The commentary called “Nyāyamañjarigranthibhanga" by Cakradhara (published by L. D. Institute of Indology, Ahmedabad) bears testimony to this. Cakradhara often says—'anye vyacakṣate' and sometimes even gives the different readings acepc ted by other commentators. However, the only commentary available now is the above cited Nyāyamañjarī granthibhanga. In spite of the sweetness of language and lucidity of diction, Nyāyamañjari has a good many knotty passages as noted by Cakradhara
