देवतामूर्ति-प्रकरणम्
213 कालिका नाम की यक्षिणी श्याम वर्ण वाली, कमल के आसन वाली और चार भुजा वाली है। भुजाओं में वरद, पाश, अङ्कुश और नाग को धारण करती है। सृष्टि मार्ग से अर्थात् दाहिने नीचे के हाथ से क्रमशः शस्त्र धारण करती है।
_Kalika, the dark-complexioned yakshini, is seated on a lotus. She has four arms. The lower right hand is in the Varad (blessing) mode, the upper right holds a noose, the upper left a goad and the lower left a Naga snake. This order, of right to left, is in the order of creation-Shrishti. (25).
५. तुंबुरु यक्ष
तार्क्ष्यस्थं तुम्बुरुं श्वेतं सुमतौ तु चतुर्भुजम् । वरदं च तथा शक्ति-नागपाशं गदाधरं ॥२६ ॥
पाँचवें सुमतिनाथ भगवान का तुंबुरु नाम का यक्ष है, वह सफेद वर्ण का, गरुड़ की सवारी करने वाला है, चार भुजाओं में क्रमशः वरद, शक्ति, नागपाश और गदा को धारण करता है।
The attendant yaksha of Lord Sumati is the four-armed Tumburu. White in colour, Tumburu rides on Garuda. One of his four hands is in the Varad (blessing) position while the other three hold the Shakti weapon, a Nagapasha (a magical noose-weapon), and a mace. (26).
५. महाकाली देवी
महाकाली हेमवर्णा पद्मारूढा चतुर्भुजा। वरदं नागपाशं चांकुशं स्याद् बीजपूरकम् ॥२७॥
महाकाली नाम की यक्षिणी सुवर्ण वाली और कमल के आसन वाली है। चार भुजाओं में क्रमशः वरदमुद्रा, नागपाश, अङ्कुश और बीजोरा को धारण करती है।
Golden-coloured Mahakali, the accompanying yakshini, is seated on a lotus. One of her four hands is held in the Varad mode. The remaining three possess the Nagapasha weapon, a goad and a citron, respectively. (27).
