देवतामूर्ति-प्रकरणम्
१. गोमुखयक्ष
अथात: सम्प्रवक्ष्यामि यक्षिणीयक्षमूर्तयः । ऋषभे गोमुखो यक्षो हेमवर्णो गजासनः ॥१७ ॥ वराक्षसूत्रं पाशं च बीजपूरं करेषु च ॥१८॥
अब यक्ष-यक्षिणियों की मूर्तियों का स्वरूप कहता हूँ- प्रथम ऋषभदेव भगवान का गोमुख नाम का यक्ष है, वह सुवर्ण वर्ण वाला, हाथी की सवारी करने वाला, चार भुजा वाला है, दाहिनी वाली दो भुजाओं में वरदमुद्रा और माला, बाँयी भुजाओं में पाश और बीजोरा है।
I (Mandan) shall now describe the respective statues of the various attendant yakshas and yakshinis of the Tirthankars...
____Gaumukh, the attendant yaksha of Lord Rishabhadeva, is golden in colour. He rides an elephant. (17).
. Gaumukh holds one hand in the Vara (blessing) position, and possesses a string of prayer-beads, a noosc, and a citron in his other hands. (18).
१. चक्रेश्वरी देवी
चक्रेश्वरी हेमवर्णा ताारूढाष्टबाहुका। वरं बाणं चक्रपाशां-कुशचक्राशनिर्धनुः ॥१९॥
चक्रेश्वरी देवी सुवर्ण वर्ण वाली, गरुड़ की सवारी करने वाली और आठ भुजा वाली है, भुजाओं में वरद, बाण, चक्र, पाश, अङ्कुश, चक्र, वज्र और धनुष को धारण करती है।
Chakreshwari is also golden in colour. She rides on Garuda. Chakreshwari has eight arms, and is depicted with one hand in the Vara (or blessing) position, and the other seven hands holding an arrow, a disc, a noose, a goad, a disc, a thunderbolt and bow respectively. (19).
