गणेश, भैरव, चण्डी, नकुलीश नव ग्रह, भूत और कुबेर इन देवों का मुख दक्षिणाभिमुख रखना शुभ है ॥२६ ॥

It is auspicious to install Ganesh, Bhairava, Chandi, Nakulish T (also called Lakulish), nava-grahas (nine celestial bodies), bhoots (ghosts and spirits), and Kuber with their faces towards the south. (26).
मातृणां सदनं कार्यं दक्षिणोत्तरदिङ्मुखम् ।
हनुमान् वानरश्रेष्ठो नैर्ऋतास्यो विदिङ्मुखः ॥ २७ ॥
मातृ देवता का देवालय उत्तर या दक्षिणाभिमुख करना और वानर श्रेष्ठ हनुमान जी का मुख नैर्ऋत्य कोण में रखना ।
Shrines dedicated to the mother-goddesses should face southwards or northwards. Ĥanuman, the best-among-all-monkeys, should be installed facing the south-western direction. (27) ज्ञात्वा सर्वं स्थापिता येन रीत्या,
देवा दैत्या मानुषाद्याश्च सर्वे 1
दृष्ट्वात्मानं व्यापकं सृष्टिकारं, .
स्थायी 'दृष्ट्वा विश्वकर्मा स वन्द्यः॥ २८॥
इति श्री क्षेत्रात्मजसूत्रधार - मण्डन- विरचित वास्तुशास्त्रे देवता - मूर्त्तिप्रकरणे प्रतिमा-पद-स्थान- दृष्टिस्थानाधिकारो नाम तृतीयोऽध्यायः ॥ ३ ॥
जिस विश्वकर्मा ने अपने व्यापक और सृष्टिकर्त्ता स्वरूप को दृढभाव से देखकर एवं सब कुछ जानकर उचित रीति से देव, दैत्य, मनुष्य आदि की स्थापना की, वह वन्दनीय है 1
श्री क्षेत्रात्मज सूत्रधार मण्डन रचित वास्तुशास्त्र - देवतामूर्ति प्रकरण का तीसरा अध्याय पूर्ण हुआ ।

According to Vishvakarmavtara-Vastushastra, the statue of Nakulish is described as being in the padmasana position, holding a citron fruit (matulingam) in the right & the rod of justice (danda) in the left. Early sculptural representations of Nakulish sometimes depict Nandi, (the sacred bull of Siva), beneath the idol, which is flanked by ascetics with long, matted hair.
