दंतसोहणमाइस्स अदत्तस्स विवज्जणं । अणवज्जेसणिज्जस्स गेण्हणा अवि दुक्करं ॥
One should refrain from taking even a trifling thing like a toothpick without asking its owner. It is therefore very difficult to observe this rule of accepting only those things that are duly given and are free from blemish and really acceptable.
दंतशोधन आदि को बिना दिए न लेना और दत्त वस्तु भी वही लेना जो अनवद्य और एषणीय हो, इस व्रत का पालन करना बहुत कठिन है ।
દાંત ખોતરવાની સળી પણ તેના માલિકને પૂછ્યા વિના ન લેવી જોઈએ. એટલા માટે જ પોતાને રીતસર આપેલી હોય એવી વસ્તુઓ પણ અનવદ્ય અને એષણીય હોય તે જ લેવાના વ્રતનું પાલન કરવું એ ઘણું કઠિન છે.
