परिभाषाएं
परिभाषा द्वारा किसी भी शब्द का संक्षेप में स्वरूप स्पष्ट हो जाता है। आगम व्याख्या-साहित्य में प्रसंगवश अनेक शब्दों की परिभाषाएं लिखी गई हैं। इस परिशिष्ट में नियुक्ति और टीका में आई परिभाषाओं का संकलन किया गया है। शोध विद्यार्थियों के लिए यह परिशिष्ट महत्त्वपूर्ण हो सकेगा।
अंगार- ज्वालारहितो वह्निरङ्गारः ।
(मवृ प. १५२) अतिक्रम-आहाकम्मामंतण, पडिसुणमाणे अइक्कमो होति ।
(गा. ८२/३) अतिप्रमाण-बहुयातीतमतिबहुं, अतिबहुसो तिन्नि तिन्नि व परेणं। तं चिय अतिप्पमाणं..... ।

__ (मवृ प. ३५) • पूर्वे-यावदर्थिकाद्यागमनात् प्रथममेव स्वार्थे निष्पादिते पश्चाद्यथासंभवं त्रयाणां यावदर्थिकादीनामर्थाय अवतारयति अधिकतरांस्तण्डुलादीन् प्रक्षिपति एषोऽध्यवपूरकः।
(मवृ प. ११५) अनिदा-अनिदा यदजानतो व्यापाद्यस्य सत्त्वस्य व्यापादनम्।
(मवृ प. ४२) अनिसृष्ट-न निसृष्टं सर्वैः स्वामिभिः साधुदानार्थमनुज्ञातं यत् तदनिसृष्टम्। (मवृ प. ३५) अपद्रावण-उद्दवणं पुण जाणसु, अतिवातविवज्जितं पीडं।
(पिभा १६) अपमित्य (भिक्षा का दोष)-भूयोऽपि तव दास्यामीत्येवमभिधाय यत् साधुनिमित्तमुच्छिन्नं गृह्यते तदपमित्यम्।
