समय दोनों तरफ सूर्य सम्मुख रहेगा अतः मैं चन्द्रोदय उद्यान में जाऊंगा। कुछ दुष्ट चरित्र वाले लोग पत्रबहुल वृक्षों की शाखा पर बैठकर राजा की पत्नियों (अंतःपुर) को देखेंगे, यह सोचकर वे छिपकर बैठ गए। उद्यानपालकों ने उन्हें देख लिया अतः उनको बांधकर लकड़ी आदि से पीटा। चन्द्रोदय उद्यान में सहसा प्रविष्ट राजा एव अंत:पुर को तृणहारक और काष्ठहारकों ने देखा। उनका भी राजपुरुषों ने निग्रह कर लिया। मध्याह्न में नगराभिमुख जाते हुए राजा के सम्मुख दोनों ओर से निगृहीत पुरुषों को प्रस्तुत किया गया। आज्ञाभंग करने वालों का वध तथा दूसरों को विसर्जित कर दिया गया। ९१/४. जो मनुष्य अन्तःपुर की स्त्रियों को देखने के इच्छुक थे, उनकी इच्छा पूरी नहीं हुई, फिर भी वे राजाज्ञा का भंग करने के कारण राजा से दंडित हुए। अन्त:पुर को देखने वाले जो अन्य पुरुष थे, उनको बिना दंडित किए मुक्त कर दिया गया क्योंकि वे राजाज्ञा का भंग करने वाले नहीं थे। आधाकर्म के विषय में इसी प्रकार यहां समवतार करना चाहिए।' ९२. जो साधु आधाकर्म का परिभोग करके उस अकरणीय स्थान का प्रायश्चित्त नहीं करता, वह बोडमुंडित व्यक्ति संसार में वैसे ही व्यर्थ परिभ्रमण करता है, जैसे लुंचित-विलुंचित (पंख रहित) कपोत। ९३, ९४. आधाकर्म द्वार का कथन कर दिया। अब पहले से समुद्दिष्ट औद्देशिक द्वार को कहूंगा। वह संक्षेप में दो प्रकार का है-ओघ और विभाग। ओघ स्थाप्य है, विभाग के तीन प्रकार हैं-उद्दिष्ट', कृत
और कर्म । प्रत्येक के चार-चार प्रकार हैं। इस प्रकार विभाग के बारह प्रकार होते हैं। ९४./१ दुर्भिक्ष के अनन्तर कुछ गृहस्थों ने सोचा-दुर्भिक्ष काल में हमने ज्यों-त्यों जीवन-यापन किया। अब हम प्रतिदिन कुछ भिक्षा देंगे क्योंकि निश्चित ही भवान्तर में अदत्त दान वाले व्यक्ति का इस जन्म में उपभोग नहीं होता और अकृत शुभ कर्म का परलोक में फल नहीं होता (अतः भिक्षा देकर कुछ शुभ कर्म उपार्जित करें।) ९५. किसी गृहनायिका ने अपने लिए पकाए जाने वाले नियत चावलों में अन्य दर्शनी साधुओं के लिए भी चावल डाल दिए, पाखंडी (अन्य दर्शनी) एवं गृहस्थ के लिए पकाए जाने वाले चावलों में विभाग रहित प्रक्षेप ओघ औद्देशिक कहलाता है। १. आधाकर्म भोजन लेने-भोगने के परिणामों में परिणत व्यक्ति यदि शुद्ध आहार भी लेता है तो वह आज्ञा का भंग करने के
कारण अशुभ कर्मों को बांधता है और जो मुनि शुद्ध आहार की गवेषणा में युक्त है, वह आधाकर्म खा लेने पर भी आज्ञा
का आराधक होता है, वह कर्मों का बंध नहीं करता (मव प. ७६)। २. गृहस्थ के लिए निष्पन्न आहार, जो भिक्षाचरों को देने के लिए अलग रख दिया जाता है, वह उद्दिष्ट कहलाता है (मवृ प.७७)। ३. पिंप्र ३१ ; वंजणमीसाइकडं-उद्धरित शाल्योदन, जो भिक्षादान हेतु करम्ब (दही-भात मिलाकर तैयार किया गया
